A Quiet Area
Deep within a heavy forest, both green and quiet. This is where Astarté had traveled, while walking so early in the morning. Xusha had reported just a few weeks ago, and was due to appear soon, perhaps even this day. Astarté took a few moments to marvel the beauty of the nature, and to think of the tranquility for a few moments. Finally, he decided that the time for him to move was at hand, so he began walking again.
His steps, leading up to the woods quietly, gradually became uncertain as the action became pattern. His gaze turned upon the trees, and he began to examine the leaves, bark and earth.
Wearing a long white tunic with blue satin, the Astarté had a clean, almost proud presence, serene and fine, loose hair, as he now felt the wind brushing slowly through the trees. The wind was abnormally cold. This was a sign, as he was accustomed to such seemingly small signs from nature. His silvery irises detailed a vision, that he had seen for the first time. Something was terribly wrong here. Things were going to change drastically within a short period of time, but the vision was unclear. The angel then folded a piece of his veil against his arm, preventing it from dragging on the ground littered with dead leaves. Skirting the underbrush, there was hopefully a moment away from the forest and he could finally join the lake, thoughtfully.
He has been absent many days, as many cases in the kingdom of heaven required his attention, including a rumor of the reappearance of Aion. If he was truly back, then this was beyond an important event. Aion had vanished, or so everyone had thought. If this turned out to be a fact, then proper preparations would have to be made immediately.
Astarté was now away from the green forest, leaving his face to see the light of dawn. The bottom of the fresh air invigorated his body and mind. He finally made it to the lake, and he sat, taking his place upon some rocks plunging into the waves. His bare feet slipped into the cold liquid and immersed themselves up to the ankle. Taking advantage of this quiet moment to close his eyes, Astarté began to meditate.

"HISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSssssssssssss." Is the sound Astarte heard before looking up to see a gargantuan snake in the water coiled up slowly moving its head closer to him. Its head nearly 3 times the size of his body was dark green with black stripes that continued down its body. Its eyes were red and orange staring right at Astarte. Sliding its tongue out tasting the air around it surly it means to make Astarte a meal. Out of the corner of his eye there was a object moving extremely fast then the snake's head was gone filled with the image of a wave and rushing water coming out from a stupendous "Booooooom." But then possibly the oddest of sounds afterword coming out through the rushing water and hissing snake, the sound of a young girls voice. "BAD SNAKE, didn’t your momma tell you not to eat nice well dressed people?" The snakes tail flew up and the figure crashed into a tree. "Ouch." She cried. "Vary bad snake." She flew back at the now recoiling snake leaving the tree broken and crash to the ground.
The girl punched the snake down and it struck back, she nearly dodged it and grabbed its head spinning quickly till its body whipped up like a funnel. After a few spins she let go and the snake flew off into the sky till it was all but invisible against the blue and clouds. After her fight she slowly floated down from the air in front of Astarte. "Sorry that guy bothered you so, he should learn his lesson well after he lands." She says to Astarte as the waves slowly start to calm. "Can I help you?" She inquired. "I’ve nothing better to do then give my services to anyone who needs them."

Re: A Quiet Area
A slight breeze, which made air wave into his hair, causing it to sway perfectly. Sails are raised with flexibility while his face remains silent, motionless, serene. Eyes closed, the inhaled and exhaled the air, not noticing the disorder. This atmosphere carried the scents of the earth, and nature seemed to say so much about the Earth's history when we are capable to decipher the meaning of wind, water, the rustling of the earth and plants.
While he focused, to graze the message that nature sent, a voice broke the link. Before he attempted to reopen the link, calmly staring into space, Astarté had gazed up, upon the face of a lady.
Slowly straightening his body, the steering and smooth silhouette cutting, then folding his arms to stand. Noting with a little smile that action was unfolding before his eyes, he lowered his face and took several steps toward the girl. Water Fairies are a new target in addition to the young lady. Astarté collected one of his hands, leaving the others to preform their duties, as if they did not not then they would falter.
The ethereal creature laughed softly. The symbol upon his forehead, a crescent moon shined, as the water fairies returned to their laughing and singing in their native tongue, a beautiful, and rare thing for a mortal to witness.
A look of silver, Astarté refereed to the girl survivor, adding an ethereal voice:
"Getting to know your environment. It it the first rule of the traveler.
I'm not one myself, but I have met many people, and they have told me many things. The snake attacked you, I'm afraid, as I had established a connection with nature, and she would sacrifice her creatures for me."
He extended a hand to the lady and added his crystalline tone:
"I am Astarté, the former director of Lapis-Lazuli at Daimos. To whom do I have the honor of addressing?"

"My name is Kewa..." clears her throat.”I mean Kera, the wanderer at no where in particular, pleased to meet you." She says taking his hand. She looks at the fairies and with her other hand waves her fingers daintily at them smiling her innocent smile. After shaking hands with the angelic man she decided to sit on a rock next to the one he had meditated on.
"Well I’m sorry for bothering your snake then." She said. "Cant blame me for thinking it would eat you, it’s not hurt though, it hit a ocean hehe." Looking up as she said this. "What’s an arc angel doing on earth anyway? Last I heard the kingdoms busy, all the time in fact, so its business?" She says looking him head to toe, finger to feather. "I’m sure being right here though isn’t particularly related." Smiling sweetly. "Can I help you Astarte?"

Re: A Quiet Area
Astarté had become accustomed to examining the forests from his manor. Being outside was rather refreshing, even with this most recent intrusion of his link with nature. With the loss of one of his angels a few weeks ago still fresh in his mind, he stared silently for a moment off into the woods. An evil presence that grew further, seemingly just at the foot of the mountains.
"There seems to be trouble ahead."
The Black Forest, just across the river, next to the mountains, was full of all sorts of evil and vile creatures. The most dangerous of them had the most vital weapon of all, a sense of logic and reason. They'd reflect, observe, and pass to attack, not only being guided by some meager impulses of hunger or territorial issues.
Dragons were the most dangerous of all, and Astarté had sensed one to be near. The younger the dragon, the less reasoning which can be demonstrated in comparison to their fathers. The creature in question was at an advanced age, just before the adult stage. He was proud, high in stature and seeming already seeking a rare female dragon to start a family, but something was off.
Few dragons would rely on mountain slopes, but there were many varied races that thrive throughout the world, ranging from the most basic fire breathers, to most advanced hybrids.
Upon its territory, a dragon can sense the approach of an enemy or a playmate. The dragon in question's shell is brown with green reflections, its size being around five meters when mounted on all four of its legs. A long thick tail whipping air and gave impetus to its heavy dashed wings.
The size of its wings were almost three meters, to support his massive weight, which had shook the land and uprooted the trees in its path. His mouth was thin and long, bristling with sharp and tenuous teeth, with a sharp and pink tongue. It ignited a deadly fire, and something else, something Astarté could not detect. Advancing with a heavy against the cliffs, the dragon observed with a sharp eye and sniffed loudly around the atmosphere that smelled of warm flesh and blood. A spark of intelligence shined near the bottom of his slit pupils, scrutinizing a gap between the frozen rocks of the cliff. He had found his target.
The dragon burst into open flight, soaring over the Black Forest. Scanning thorughly, it eventually came to the peaceful garden, where Astarté and Kera were at. The girl seemed to be his target, but what could such a dragon want with her?
"I don't think this dragon has traveled so far to befriend you."

Re: A Quiet Area
Kera looked up at the mountains to see a large object soaring from its peaks in there direction. ”I see." She said watching it get bigger and bigger as it shortened the distance between them. As it got closer she could make out slowly its general shape and color, great massive wings and horns all over its body, she finally realized it was a dragon, dark brown and maleficent. "Well its here for once of us, could be you, but I doubt it, and I can’t think of what it wants with Me.” Looks at her dragons on her arms. "Hopefully not a mate." She shudders and straightens her belt pulling her sword scabbard out from under her jacket so she can reach it with ease. “Let’s just talk to him.”

Re: A Quiet Area
The presence of the young woman was first and foremost for the dragon, who had awakened recently. The dragon towered over Kera and Astarté, sniffing them both thoroughly. Looking at Astarté a long moment before turning, the dragon seemed to sense something was different, as Astarté established a mental link with the creature, and it could now speak to them both freely, if the creature intended to do so.
* "I have traveled far beyond the reaches of the nethervoid to find the one called Kera Fury. She has, as her scent would confirm, been in... his... presence." *
Astarté stood in disbelief. Had this girl truly been in the presence of Aion? It would have to have been very recently, as the dragon could clearly smell his scent. Astarté would have to contact the kingdom as soon as he could. Xusha would either have to hurry with her update, or have to wait as he had been. Glancing over at the dragon, Astarté asked with a slight melancholy tone.
"Answer me dragon, with no offense to your orders... Please explain whose presence in that you are referring to, it can't possibly be who I'd imagine. "
The creature recovers his mouth to the man further and wrinkles look:
* "Surely and Arch Angel could comprehend that there are very few that would cause my being here. I am here for Kera Fury, and I have found her." *
The dragon closed his eyes, before shooting a scorching black flame into the sky. When the flame jet dried up, the dragon then lowered its head towards Kera, as it spoke in a much calmer, respectful tone.
* "By order of the my race, the Zoran, and behalf of all of my kinsmen, I offer you my companionship. I shall be your familiar. Earning... his... Favor will allow our species to regain the respect that we've long since deserved. The Kysnif Dragons have drastically lowered our numbers, but with the proper allies, we will regain our respect. I will prove to the world how loyal and strong we are by sacrificing my freedom, and serving this girl the rest of my, or her years." *
Dragons are a proud race. The humiliation of a dragon offering itself to a mortal is considered blasphemy among many species of dragon. Almost all dragon companionships are signified at a dragon's birth. This dragon, nearly an adult, willing to offer his service in exchange for one being to ally with his race. It seemed impossible, but Astarté understood completely. If Aion would ally with this dragon's race, then their enemies would simply perish. The angel lowered his head, looking upon the young woman and he added a final note, one of warning.
"Miss please... Consider this heavily before you accept his offer. A dragon companion is a life-altering decision to make. It is a miracle of nature, but it is a huge decision for you to make."

Re: A Quiet Area
Looking up at the dragon with a more serious look then shed given Astarte. "Dear dragon, nothing would I do to insult your kindred but I must ask you to truthfully tell me what do the Zoran stand for as dragons.” She asks looking deep into his eyes. “Tell me also weather you came to me for protection, the fall of your enemies, or the simple chance your race will survive in happiness?" She says looking deeper into the dragon’s eyes. “And what would that last option in tell?”
"Personally I aim all that I am at the good will of all creatures, even those choosing the left hand path and lesser morals." Looking into his eyes more innocently but still with a iron will. "I know you indeed care about your race and your fellow dragons, id be more then glad to help you if I can, just know what I stand for."
"If indeed you have more then savagery in your mind and you have character in your heart, more then pride but caring for the things you even eat." She says smiling warmly "Ill allow you to be my partner, but you’ll have to ask the others weather you can be my familiar. But there friendly so I’m sure you will get along." She finally looks away giggling as the dragons on her arms seem to look more lively then they did before.
Turning she looks at Astarte. "Something tells me you have questions and possibly more you’re wanting from me besides just knowing whom I met." Looking at him a little coy. "Ill tell you what you can know and say it’s all I know." Staring up into his eyes now. "Ok?"

Re: A Quiet Area
The dragon blew his hot, hazy breath, yet no flames touched the young woman. The dragon examined the girl heavily, after her demanding an explanation from him. Inhaling deeply, he began his story.
* "My race... A once proud race of dragons. We were defenders, as well as sovereigns. So I had thought, at least. An alliance of envious dragon races overpowered my own. We are superior to the others, but they outnumber us heavily, and a certian blessing would... Restore our superiority. Complete dominance is not our goal, but redemption is our primary objective." *
His slit, narrows pupils suddenly closed, under the disgust that came of the thought. He was a proud dragon, brought down by lesser, envious dragons. His words would still resonated with the deep, proud tone, but now he communicated within the minds of both creatures at his side, meaning his voice was silenced, as a new presence was nearby.
* "No excuses will be granted... I simply will serve you, and give you my word, that I shall be forever loyal." *
Astarté was silent, and the slight bluish glow around him disappeared. The angel was well aware of his surroundings. When the young woman at his side, he bowed and added:
"Thank you for your patience in this matter, but if you truly met Aion, then this land is once again..."
He did not finish his words. He had wasted too much time already.
Astarté unfolded two pairs of wings, deploying four armatures of feathers and bone, to free himself quickly from the scene. The young woman remained against him, hugged by one of his arms, he would fly with her for a moment, to secure their position.
The large dragon followed, and Astarté dropped the girl, as she'd land upon its back, with any luck. She had already accepted the dragon, and it would allow him to fly faster if she was not weighing him down. Astarté flew for hours at record speeds, the dragon close behind, until reaching a safe, quiet area, just outside of his manor. Situating himself, and pouring hot tea for both himself and the female, Astarté offered her a seat, and a safe place to talk, out of reach to anyone who was possibly spying on them previously.
"Tell me what you know about Aion."

Re: A Quiet Area
Awhile before the group left:
Scar woke with a start. His skin tingling, Scar looked around the room through his fully dilated eyes.
“He’s here.”
Racing around his room, Scar began to gather all of his armor and weapons. With a snap of his wrist, his scythe from the other room flew through the door and into his hand. Adjusting his armor onto his body, Scar ran for the door. With a quick pulse of power, the door flew out into the cold morning. Not even stopping to gather his cloak, Scar took a running leap off of his balcony. Doing a summersault in mid-air, Scar unfolded his wings and took off in the direction of the portal. Joy escalating, his powers began to leak out creating fantastic creatures of light and dark flying in the sky. Rocketing towards the portal, Scar tucked in his wings and did a dive. Shooting towards the portal, Scar began to wonder why the angel would come to earth. Passing through the portal with practiced grace, Scar found himself over a forest.
“Where is this?”
Shooting down to the ground as to not be seen, Scar quickly landed in the midst of many giant trees. Walking through the forest, Scar began to feel the presence of two more beings. Walking a bit more quietly, Scar decided it was best to listen to the conversation before attacking. Reaching the edge, of what looked like a clearing, Scar crouched low and looked upon the meeting.
“Oh my God.”
Looking upon the group, Scar saw Astarte, a dragon, and the woman from a while back. Listening intently, his interest piqued by the appearance of the strange woman, Scar began to listen closer to the conversation. After hearing a few words, Scar picked up the name Aion.
“So, he’s involved.”
Leaning back a bit, Scar saw the group leave by flight.
“So the kingdom may fall. I better leave well enough alone for now. After all, I haven’t even finished my training yet.”
Waiting as every trace of there presence disappeared; Scar took a step back and relaxed. Using his wings to create a circle of energy, Scar created a cross inside using his hands. In moments, the lines that had been the cross had peeled back revealing the portal entrance. Taking a deep breath, Scar took a step forward and entered back into his realm.

Blinking as she’s taken off by the angel before the has time to object or stop him she allows him to carry her up into the air knowing when he dropped her, he'd want her to land on the dragon she finessed herself onto hits shoulders and watch him zip off and follow him. "Not as if I couldn’t fly" she says looking down out of the corner of her eye briefly to see robs portal just closing and giggles as he eyes glint with resolution.
Being use to riding dragons before she nestled herself in on his back, and lessening her weight by altering the gravity given off by her body to that off a small child and tying herself in place with tiny strains of energy. While getting bored on her flight she decided to look around his back and pick off any parasites under his scales and throw them over while still trying to be less of a nuisance.
Arriving at the place Astarte was leading them she accepted his tea and seat and listened to him. "Well a few weeks back." recalling her confrontation of Aion and scar. "A man in dark clothing entered a random bar off the beaten path i was in while I was wandering around. The man I found to be interesting so I made an excuse for him to engage in conversation with me and slowly he warmed up enough to ask me his name." She continued. "He told me and another acquaintance a battle he had with a man named Asteroth and offered us a chance to fight Astaroth once more but after all denied it of us." Looking up at him she finished. "He also told me he was waiting for someone but never said who and they never appeared to show up at that location. After my friend got drunk and went to bed, Aion left and I’ve not seen him as of yet."
After telling her story she looked back over to the dragon. "I’m always a friend to the proud and kind dragon kind, what’s your name good friend dragon?"

After telling her story she looked back over to the dragon. "I’m always a friend to the proud and kind dragon kind, what’s your name good friend dragon?"

Re: A Quiet Area
The archangel held his lips slightly parted as his breathing became slow and quiet, wearing a light turned on the atmosphere on the side. The words of the young woman troubled him, as he flinched and let his iris clear to see hers.
Silence was always the master over him when he heard news that would be considered 'beyond troubling'. She told him that Aion had defeated Astaroth. The effect of a shock froze his attention, and a rare quivering of the archangel was displayed. His eyes grew slowly, but the name turnsed in his mind, which was invaded by questioning assumptions.
Without warning, the symbol on his forehead began to twinkle with a crescent moon facing to the right.
The shiver that ran through his spine stiffened him, while his fingers backed on themselves at the same time. He spoke to the young woman with a look below and the tone of his became voice soft and hesitant.
"He... Defeated Astaroth you said?"
Astarté did not yet know Astaroth was defeated. He knew that Balbéro was destroyed, but this was crazy. Aion had become a very troubling individual, with the power to match it. Astaroth was boasted as one of Lucifer's finest. Unable to find the right decision, and especially curious about the behavior of the young woman, which did not appear to be linked too closely to the underworld. He then fixed his breath a few seconds before releasing calmly his next set of words.
"I do not understand your motives in this... But if you are looking for Jack or Astaroth, then you will die. This is no place for someone like you to interfere in. Someone was watching us earlier. This someone seemed to really wish my undoing. I would suggest that you do not engage Astaroth, if he is still alive. He couldn't possibly have been... At least, not by Aion."
It a new age it seemed. Aion had substancially increased in power if he truly defeated Astaroth, which could easily have been made up by himself, or this female, but neither seemed like the kind to lie so openly with no real gain. Closing his eyes, he stretched his arms a moment, to regain his figure, as the young woman may have thought his reaction either scary, or amusing, and either way was wrong. Without looking up at the girl, he added:
"A creature of darkness may perhaps love another, but it seems different now... In my case this feeling is not relevant to my mission. If I were to go further into this situation... With you... I'd some problems that I could not resolve so easily. Your life would be my responsibility, but you have a good head on your shoulders. You should... Consider joining forces with me. I'm sure together we could..."
Astarté reported a serious tone to the girl. Her motives, as well as her loyalties were unknown. Without moving, his face shifted slightly to one side. Silence filled his mind. Then he saw his cup on the table before him, feeling just as empty as it was.
If this woman wanted to see either Astaroth or Jack, then things would get rough for them both. Astarté could not risk engaging into conflict with Jack, but would be more then happy to settle the score with Astaroth. Astarté did not want to see his brother die, but his orders were clear from the start, and the time of action seemed near, and if Astaroth were truly injured, it would be the best time for action.
Meanwhile, the dragon turned to the girl, after being asked the question. He looked off into the horizon for a moment, before looking back at the female. His head was tilted, and he let out a soft sigh. This girl did not understand much about how these things worked, and he would have to tell her, so it seemed, as Astarté was too busy being lost in thought.

Re: A Quiet Area
"Yes beaten, but it looked like it could have easily been the other way around, I tell you not an easy win, surprised Aion had the strength to walk away. Oh and Astaroth isn’t dead" Looking back at Astarte. "If you care for speculation I believe Aion didn’t want Astaroth dead, its not cuz he couldn’t kill him. Might be why it was so hard for him to win, cuz it’s harder to keep your prey from dying in a fight then killing it."
After listening to him she started looking deeper into Astarte’s eyes, vary vary deep. In depths to where it appeared her eyes were all he could ever see and never look away from. Her iris a light gold slowly eking down into the darkness of her pupil, gilded with small speckles that seemed to slowly dance, and fall down into her eyes like wisps of snow cutting the light into colors as they twinkle. "Alls not well with you is it Astarte?" Breaking the hypnotic stare and going on like she had no idea how it effected him or that it even happened. "Even with my human eyes I can see that. Would you like to talk about it? Or listen to me and Buru while you contradict yourself in your mind?"
Lighting her tone and complexion she turns to Buru. "So this land you come from Buru, it was once pretty was it? And I have no intention of making you my slave, my pet, or "my dragon"." she quotes her fingers. "But id rather die then let you and your proud kind suffers so many atrocities for just being more successful then another kind. I’ll help you any way I can. I am your friend now Buru and since the latter of the deal is you having to do as I say anyway you are obligated by your first offer to accept my 2nd offer regardless" She smiles and giggles sweetly. "No insult to your pride, I respect that you’re willing to give it up for your fellow dragons, but respect my pride and honor in being nothing more then a friend."
And with that she hopped up and gave Buru’s leg a big hug. "By the way if your curious of this gesture its a way of sealing the deal, if you don’t eat me it means you accept" She laughs a bit.

Re: A Quiet Area
The archangel was eventually able to calm himself. Everything was progressing much too quickly. He had many levels of opposition now. On one side, he had Astaroth, Jack, Lucifer, Astarté, and Cinzia. The other level was Aion, and the unknown beings that chose to follow him. He calculated that his side consisted of Xusha, Raphaël, Father Lucius, and Père (Father) Alexius, referring to him that way because he was still in France, working undercover. His former pupil, Octarine, was unaccounted for, as he had been underground for many years, but was thought to be delivering messages to Astaroth in secret. The disposition of this girl, and the figure spying from before was unknown.
"Well then. Mademoiselle Fury... Have you an allegiance? Or are you more of a mercenary type? My forces could always use someone such as yourself."
His voice was dry, and his mind was focusing on furthering his list of allies. There were surly more of his kind then that of his opposition, but the dark arts can prove to be a completely formidable foe. Astarté was a being of power, but if Aion could defeat Astaroth, then he could potentially gain an advantage in numbers, as well as tact, as he could potentially interrupt a conflict between Astaroth and himself, completely crushing them both. Looking back to the girl, Astarté added, in his normal tone.
"The question is not whether you want to fight for me. The question is where your heart is."
He looked away for a moment, before refilling his tea, and sipping it.
"You may find that things aren't always as they appear. Aion is a special case, and I do not recommend you ever engage him directly. Astaroth is also a huge threat to the people. I don't want to see you die, whichever path you may choose. There is the option of backing down, but it may be too late for you, if word gets out that this dragon came to you, and that you've met Aion. I am actually surprised that he didn't attempt to kill you."
Astarté smiled a moment, as he noted that the dragon did not attempt to eat her or remove her from his leg. He had witnessed a dragon face the ultimate sacrifice of its own freedom, but the problem was that it was for his enemy. Aion was a huge power now, and this girl was proof. If she allied with him, then times were truly changing.
The dragon itself remained silent, accepting its fate, as the transaction was complete. The dragon, while seemingly doing nothing, was establishing a connection with the woman, linking their minds so that they could communicate, even when on other sides of the world. His wings spread slightly, revealing a few of the scars from battles of his past.

Re: A Quiet Area
"I have no allegiance in the form of someone, or someones. That has done me wrong in the past." Looking back at Astarte. "I don’t see why I particularly have to fight at all, i didn’t even know there was need for fighting. Why would a pacifist like me be any use to anyone in a fight? Anyway I only fight those who are oppressing the innocent." Her eyes flash at him and seem to be blood red with darkness all around her blotting out everything he can see and looming in his mind dark thoughts and corruption he'd never image racking his mind like torrents of hell. But only for an instant and once again she goes on like it never happened.
"Ok Buru. You’re sadly going to have to suffer indignity to travel with me. If people around where i go see a dragon, there not gonna take it lightly." With that she connected her mind with his and instantly he had the form of a well built human man. "Just remember its for your people, and no one thinks lesser about a hero when they save the world and have to do some odd things." He was 2 meters tall with long green hair and chocolate skin, his face was strong and his eyes were gold. He was dressed in light bronze armor with a sword at his belt almost his own height. In the world of men he was a juggernaut.
