Actually if you read my original post (which was before Weena was rescued) You would know I was the first to get to Weena. Still, I'm gonna stop this discussion since we seem to be digressing here! =|

Well, normally it isn't good to join after 5 or 6 pages, but as long as you don't affect the storyline too much (ironic me saying that, eh?), no problem!

Hmm, well now I'm dissuaded from even thinking to join in Grey now xD Ah well, there are other options, I suppose.

Speaking of RP, is there any possibility of starting a thread which has each person's character(s) biographies? Or at least a thread where players could fill in a sheet of information about specific traits/attributes of their characters? It may just be me, but it would be a lot easier to understand the other characters that way to make interaction between them more realistic.

The time I was active (ol' days xD) I usually created one sign-up form, then had it moved to the archive when the RP started so people could read it in the archives if they needed data, but could just RP in the regular RP forum. Though I'm afraid people don't really like signing up here. I suspect this is because, since everyone controls everyone's character, it doesn't make much sense

@ Deathclaws: Ah, I see. I've scanned the Archives a few times but haven't really stopped to read so I guess I'll go do that.

Well, this therad was kinda for that, so I could display all necessary info on the first post, so should I make a new thread for biographies and any necessary info surrounding your character?

Well that might defeat the point of making your characters different on each different one, doesn't it?

no, you can register multiple biographies, I do that in all other forums. But people won't bother to read YOUR biography when controlling YOUR character rite?!

Actually, if I was RPing, I would. Since you are using another person's character, you'd try to keep them as close to character as possible (or at least you'd hope so...) and having background information about them can help you see what strengths/weaknesses they have, abilities (it would be awkward to suddenly invent your own set for someone else's char...), personality etc. Just my opinion. It wouldn't hurt to have one though, it could be some extra reading when you're looking for some reading material.

I totally agree with Vampi, most ARPers would have the courtesy to control the character correctly.

Ya know, now that Im finnaly approved (Thanks Icey xD) I though up a backstory for me and my... counterpart >.> but I dont know if its safe to join. I know Weena says I shouldnt overly effect the Grey storyline, and I don't plan on it. But I dont wanna do something stupid like on my last RP (Dont even ask.) Should I or should I not?

Here is a thought. Maybe before we start, if someone wanted control over themselves and no one else there, they could post in the beginning, "Control own character only." That way, everyone is happy. Thats one idea, and the other is just to write using splendor and majesty, helping show character development as DC says by writing as if they were your own character. After a while, you would be able to tell where the author wants their character to go to, and if not, it would be best not to try using them then.
