Meh I'm not getting vairum but I'm gonna play on it still e.e
No matter what way you travel you must move forward into the gleaming tomorrow never looking back on what could have been so just go eyes wide open into a newer brighter tomorrow and just remember when you fall I'll be there to help you back up and whenever the road gets rocky that you'll have a friend by your side to keep you company and help you along.

Re: First Impressions of Epicduel
Idk if I can proceed any farther. There is one player, Shaniqua (Level 30), who likes to farm out her character to other people and play on all four servers. This makes it very hard for the higher level people to progress up to level 30, thus making the game a real drag for level grinding.
...at least Angels Holocaust is only on one server at a time and is rather pleasant to talk to.

Re: First Impressions of Epicduel
Considering i have a role to play as a member of the TR Faction on ED i have to ensure that i keep an interest in it.
Course it helps being a level 29 Founder...
I'd say the most annoying thing when it comes to varium is when you go to change your hair style/appearance. If you have on a 100 varium hair, every time you want to change the color of your armor it costs you another 100 varium just to keep the same hair. Thats ridiculous.

Re: First Impressions of Epicduel
When ED first came out, naturally I was fascinated by it. Got myself the Founder gear and all that jazz. Initially, I quite liked the style of the game since I hadn't played anything like it before and the guns do look quite good, but the lag and crashing wasn't really my thing. Anyway, I did manage to progress to level 26 before the game started feeling like a grinding session so I backed out.
One of the things that I found quite problematic with ED was the amount of money (gold?) you earn from each battle. Not only do the battles (particularly 2v2) take awhile to finish, you only get a handful of gold per win/loss which makes saving up for the higher level gear hard. I suppose in a way it's strategy - to get more players to take the easy path and buy Varium packs- but not so fun after buying a $9,700 weapon and needing to save up like $12,000 again next level to ensure you have the best edge.

Re: First Impressions of Epicduel
It's another burlesque show! Is there even any armor that isn't a leotard in ED? Even then, I didn't play it much because sci-fi isn't really my thing.

"For the last time, I'm a she lion! Neither prince nor king, but a woman!"
The day burlesque is not compulsory is the day I'll quit being mean. And me being a showgirl is just for mockery.

Re: First Impressions of Epicduel
I loved Epicduel... before AE bought it. I used to play Epicduel a long time ago.
Anyway, now that AE bought it I thought "Sure, I'll play." and I made a new account and reached level 20 in two days.
Haven't played since.

Re: First Impressions of Epicduel
ED gave me a good first impression, i made 1 character of each class/whatever. I had so much fun playing ED that i had plans of quitting AQW for good and start playing ED instead but then after a while it got more and more boring and eventually i QUIT playing it..
