The Elder Scrolls!

Post by Cial on Tue Apr 27, 2010 3:21 am

I thought I'd make another...video game topic. This one follows The Elder Scrolls Series, y'know, Morrowind, Oblivion? I just recently aquired GoTY Oblivion (again) for PS3! And so far, not so bad. An Orc named Cial, a sword I made, the 1337 sword, a hammer named Megatron, and a nice horsey! Tell us what YOU'VE done in the Elder Scrolls!

Weeeeeell, in morrowind i basically got mods ( i had computer version) that made the game have awesome cool extra quests and stuff.

But oblivion is another story, in oblivion i usually have my dark brother hood armor equipped with a later rank's hood on, and i have a katana that i enchanted, and i used glitches to make me have really good jumping and speed. Then i raised my illusion and destruction to 100 and made a touch spell that made me invisible, paralyzed the person, and then killed him, and i never got cought. so basically i was an assassin of Tamriel and i would kill every guard and citizen in site without getting caught. oh and i forgot i had good archery skills and would snipe from afar.

Well, in Oblivion, I have managed to finish all but one thieves guild quest, finished the Dark Brotherhood, finished the arena, finished the mage's guild, and done numerous other quests. I am about level 24, but I have yet to complete the storyline (lol). Oh ya, Mastered mysticism, very high thieving (skeletons key), and much much more! I haven't played in months because I allowed my friend to borrow it, and he kept it for about half a year, much to my dismay, and I haven't played it since I got it back.

Oh, and I item glitched to get a TON of money and arrows, along with getting the "bound" weapons full time by glitching them into my inventory. :D

I guess I'm the only one in the world who plays Daggerfall still. Or Arena at that matter. You can get the two for free legally from the Bethesda website actually. The story actually makes sense if you play everything.

I'm going to have to download that soon. Tyvm. Its hard moving back in a series though, so I don't know if I'm going to like it.

Lol Rage, the guards are so weak.

I had downloaded a modification for this game in which has recently gone "Hidden" by the creator. It would seem that such an excellent modification will never expand past its beta stage. Shame indeed. Some of these mods are really fun though! Here's a favorite called "28 Days and a Bit."

I tried playing Oblivion once. Didn't like it because I was forced into a first person view all the time via the character's head. I prefer third person views.

If there was a way for the camera to take a third person view behind the character, I must have missed it.

That was the first game I played on the xbox 360 (also the best)

I spent so many hours making my character great in the game and one day I turned it on and I found out that my character was deleted.... My Brother is evil
