Vampre or lycan?
Vampire or Lycan?
Personally, I'm a wolfie kinda guy.
I also know a couple of others who probably are.
But, this clan seems to have hordes of vampires too.
Who's gonna be what, and why?
Don't just say "Vampires, they're awesome, LYCAN SUK!" please.
P.S This is all assuming they're going to be released...

Re: Vampire or Lycan?
I've always been a fan of vampire in the whole vampire vs. werewolf debate. I have a longer response on the AEF, I'll just quote it here:
"I chose werewolf because I like irony.
Nah, I chose vampire. Out of the vast range of supernatural/mythical creatures, vampires have always been a species of particular interest to me. I’m not really sure why but there are so many ways to look at them and while I know werewolves hold a similar appeal for some people, come on - they’re hairy. I’m not trying to make a generalization here, but quite a number of vampire/werewolf stories portray the werewolves as the more physically driven and brutish race, while the vampires practice a sort of regal elegance. That’s part of the allure for me but I’m not going to go into that because I think I’m already a bit biased in my opinion, hehe. I admit that some of the werewolf interpretations are nice (when they’re cute, furry wolves... D'aww) but some others are just… strange. Besides, I’ve already developed my AQW character as a vampiress so this decision is more of a natural choice, really."

Re: Vampire or Lycan?
I personally prefer werewolves, mostly because female lycans are scarce in mainstream media. In fact, I made a topic about female werewolves a very long time ago, back in 2005.
Edit: I dunno about you, Hay, but personally, I think a lycan girl could be as elegant as a vampire if she's in human form.

Sparkly vampires ftl.
I love the idea of being a werewolf.

I don't really know why I like Vampires better. They're just more appealing to me.

Re: Vampire or Lycan?
Vampire hands down.
I have sevaral reasons for this: first off because I AM A VAMPIRE! (Im from Transilvania) Secondly because I want my character to come off as a intelligant strategist instead of a brutish warrior and quite frankly; Werewolfs aint known fo them brains! Finally because someone needs to prevent vampires from becoming depressed teenage emos, and I suppose that someone will be me...

True that, but from the few times I've tried reading into werewolf stories, there isn't always a distinctive difference between the male and female werewolves. Being werewolf alters your entire consciousness so in a way, female werewolves are just as likely as males to be the more "rough" of the two species.

Read some of Terry Pratchett's Discworld. Specifically any of the books with Sergeant Angua in them. He has an interesting take on them.

Re: Vampire or Lycan?
Eh, well it depends, are the Werewolves sublunar? (means do they change under a full moon) Because if they do then id have to go with none. But if theyre NONlunar and non nocturnal then i'd be like *Jump super high, run on wall, crush a vampire skull*

Re: Vampire or Lycan?
I've always loved Vampires, I don't know why. Their entrancing attributes must affect the real world, drawing in viewers.
There is also a sexuality about vampires that werewolves can't ever have (in their transformed state).
