From what I've heard I'm not the only one who's been having major lag issues so I figured a thread with tips for surviving lag until it gets fixed might be useful.
I can't remember any specific tips except for waiting for lag to clear before attacking... but I know several ppl on here do have some really good tips so if any one feels up to it, please post them here.

The lag is universal in AQW right now unfortunately. AE is trying to sort out the lag but I doubt it will work. They need to upgrade the servers more for it to not lag.

Low quality, tiny mode, sound off, be in a private room, only wear a class and weapon.
People also suggest not to auto-attack, only use skills, but that doesn't make a difference for me.

Not only can I not find anyone to help me with the Great Pumpkin King...

It's a pain because the lag comes and goes and it's like right when you are almost finished with a quest that you get booted
and it sucks that all the servers are affected
but I wonder if it was really just mogloween that caused it seeing as how there was no massive lag last year

Right now Minimal is working pretty well, I just logged on and didn't get any of the log in lag.

Another tip that I don't think was mentioned is going to a non-chat moglin server, the lack of chat lowers lag.

They fixed most of it. Now there is like no lag on releases. Cookies are ftw! (remember they fed cookies to the servers to fix it:o)
