The problem is you can't really play without it, too many varium items.

Edit: Well, now its only rockets that cost varium, so thats cool.

I love Varium personally.

I love the beta weapons i received too. They go nicely with my founder armor XD

I splurged and got myself the Founder armor just for the sake of having it and to support AE. I'm kind of hoping that it'll be unlocked in AQW when the M.A.S kicks in with item unlocking. I'm not really sure Varium is worth it though, it's considerably more expensive than purchasing AC though if you want to have a better advantage in battles, you'll need it for the best gear.

Then again, if you had upgraded before the ED gang merged with AE, you get unlimited Varium... which would be very handy indeed. :D
