You got two of the books signed?! *envy* LOVE THAT SERIES. At least, the first two series... Power of Three and later weren't nearly so good.

And Whitestorm is awesome.

Anyway, back on topic.

For my first alternate character--Julisbane--I decided I was going to invent a mortal enemy for Juliana. So I gave her a name to reflect that. Later, her name became Risa Gwendolyn Tanner. Tanner because it's a name I like, and it was already the last name of the family I had decided she belonged to; Risa I got from a book of names that I found at my grandparents' house (it's pretty and translates literally as "laughter," so I liked it); and Gwendolyn was a very subtle reference to the name of a friend of mine.

Second alt is Darkness of the Day. I wanted to make a male character, but I had no idea who he was or what role he would play. Out of ideas, I used a line I liked from a poem I wrote.

My name orgin is fairly simple.
I just took my first and middle name, squished them together, played with the spelling until I got 'Kayleen'. Then I threw 'Dragon Lord' In front of it because the first AE game I signed up for was DragonFable. Where there are Dragon Lords. yeah. ._. I give Winnie some of the credit because she gave me the first starting idea.
