I caught Raikou yesterday, and nearly have whittled down Entei to catchable. 7 badges, I will not keep going farther until I get Entei. Wish me luck.

Since i bought my new emerald i only have a camerupt on my team and plan to get a aggron, crawdaunt and glalie any other suggestions?

Assuming you only want UU/NU pokemon you could use a Alteria or a Swellow to fly.

-Scizor (Physical)
-Gengar (Special)
-Togekiss (Special w/Tri Attack)
-Magmortar (Special)

Erik, Entei is terrible, I'd only recommend Suicune, although he's only available in Kanto. Just use regular Pokemon, so you can breed moves onto them and get the natures you need.

Electivire and basic rock type tanks could tear through your team easily.

yea i realised that i just like dragons
but my flygon would pwn the electrivire and my gyrados would own the rock types cause its fast and know powerful water moves

Gyrados is only to be used with a physical moveset. Having Hydro Pump, the only powerful move I know of that Gyrados can learn, would do small damage.
I would consider adding Electivire to your team, because if Gyrados is out, electric moves do x4 damage, so switch out Gyrados with Electivire, who takes no damage from electric attacks (his ability make him gain speed if hit by an electric attack), and crush the other foe, assumed electric, with earthquake.

but if flygon went in first to kill electrivire then gyrados used surf against the rocks
i didnt say that you could only use gyrados's natural moves
and no i dont think gyrados is purely a physical monster since at lv 24 he can own a lv 56 graveler with surf problem solved also try teaching him ice beam or something

Seppy, as friendly advice, Gyrados's attack base stat is 140 more than it's special attack. I would reccommend using Waterfall instead of Surf.

No problem. My cousins were Pokemon Gurus back when Pearl and Diamond were released. If you enjoy Dragon types, here's a team that I would reccommend.

-Gyrados (Physical)
-Electivire (Physical)
-Flygon (Physical)
-Magmortar (Special)/Blaziken (Physical)
-Salamence (Physical/Special)
-Kingdra (Physical/Special)

4 Dragon types with 2 others that can confuse your opponent if you switch a Dragon out.

hey sticky your forgetting that there wasn't a attack split back then so waterfall was special attack based still.
