If you mean the custom text you put below your name, yes. I think it would probably work well either on the sides, turned sidways, or on top. It will be fairly easy with the arial font to have 2-even 5 different colors in 1 word.

Well, I perfected the base, and here's what I got:

I managed to do a few overnight of a few random people, so here they are:

Each takes like 10 minutes to make, so it'll be a while before I do every active TR member. ;)

They're quite good, the only complaint I have is that the proportions are kinda off, they are too wide, and the frames are really small, try 190 X 275 (pixels) which is the size of my base thing.

Sorry, but the only refining I'm gonna be able to do is fix up the thinness of the pics made with my other comp's resolution. It's gonna be too much work fixing the template, now that I deleted it's WIP.psd.

Nice! I'll try making a few, but shouldn't we find a font that all programs have? (Currently i'm using tinypic, i'll use Zapfino unless needed otherwise.)

Should the 1st Edition be the chosen ones, or all ACTIVE TR members?

@Valo: First edition is the original batch of cards that come out - obviously the TR mods and admins will be 'em, plus a few active members. ;)

@Shadow: Sure, if I'm gonna do as many cards as I have in mind, I'm gonna need as much expert help as possible. Here's the template again, as I posted earlier (just to save some scrolling. ;)):

Member name is size 36 Black Chancery. (Colour depends on TR Rank, admins red, mods gold, and art village mods rich blue)
Description is size 10 Italic Times New Roman, centered. If you have room left, just use the transform tool to make it vertically larger, but not too much.

Make sure, for text quality, you change the type from none to sharp. (Found between the font size and alignment options)

You probably already knew/figured this out for yourself, but hey, just feel like keeping myself occupied.

Betcha your cards are gonna be sweet. ;)

My edges are a bit off, and I didn't really know what to put for the description so...

Not great... but is it any good? (This was done 99% in MS Paint, other then that it was text in tinypic.)

@Weena:
Oh, well, since there isn't any other base.. i'm using this for now. What font do you use? I have the free account on photoshop.

A few tips:
* Make sure you save the transparency! (File --> Save For Web and Devices --> Save as 24 bit PNG, transparency box ticked) In order for this to work, your image must consist of 1 non background layer, made by selecting all layers and clicking merge layers. After that, you should have just 1 layer with a bit of transparentness on it.

* Deal in layers! Card base should be the top layer, your character pic should be the middle layer with the body/head showing through the hole, and the bottom layer should be that slightly lighter yellow that's in the background of the char portrait. Erase the bits sticking out of the side and merge layers.

After that, all you need to do is add the text as I described up last post, (no typos!), merge layers, save for web & devices and poof!

Yeah, I know that description sounded complicated, but it's actually really easy.

When we eventually get round to making cards for each member (if it ever happens) would you makes cards for RP char's that members make? or not?
