Shadow, I'm 90% sure that the Rixty Ripper is a reward given for using a Rixty Game Card for AQW when it becomes available for use.
Similar to the way that the Best Scythe is given to people who use Best Buy upgrade cards.

Oh, right, and the color scheme of the Rixty Ripper matches that of Rixty Game Cards.. So I really doubt that the egg will turn into that...

Yeah, I heard some players discussing the Rixty scythe. Apparently someone had asked Cysero about it in-game and he confirmed that it's a reward for using one of those cards... coupons... whatever they are. I went to the website: You can get them in USA over the cashier or in these massive vending machine things.
