MAYBE IT'S A MASK WITHIN A MASK WITHIN A MASK.

MAYBE THE MASK ISN'T REAL.

MAYBE SEBI ISN'T REAL.(Not likely, but I can dream.)

Oh, Sebi's real all right. I would know. I know what's under the mask, too...

Underneath the mask is pure horror: an evil monstrosity so vile and so alien that the pure sight of it would turn the most mentally prepared man into an insane gibbering fool.

What if sebi is the mask, and the body is just his means of moving. He's actually a bread of alien masks who jump onto people's faces so they can take over their bodies.

Are you insinuating that Sebi is made of flour, water, eggs, and yeast baked in an oven until delicious?

Actually I was eating toast at the time... I didn't MEAN to make that typo, but maybe it's a sign that I should get some toast again today. I am kinda hungry.

Once upon a time there was a contest and the objective of the contest was to make a piece of art relating to zards. Today while cleaning up my harddrive I found a half finished entry for that story and went about finishing it up.

"But Peregrine" you may ask, "aren't there already two stories in here from contests in which you wrote about zards? Why would you bother writing a third one if you lost the last two?" Well I've got nothing to say to you other than that I hope you CHOKE ON SOMETHING WHILE READING YET ANOTHER STORY ABOUT ZARDS.
