Rugby

I don't know why I'm posting this topic. It may be to do with every second commercial I see being about next years Rugby World Cup, Saturday's before work being spent organising my brothers for their morning games, and the Crusaders losing against the Bulls on the weekend.

But yeah, rugby.

I used to play a bit at school, mostly touch because the PhysEd teacher didn't want any serious injuries occuring. My preferred position is first-five/fly half or on the wing.
I sometimes watch my brothers matches, sometimes the high-school level games and occasionally the big matches on TV.
I support the Canterbury Crusaders (Super 14), the All Blacks, Black Ferns, Wales, and any team against Australia (except England).

As much as I wish for NZ to win, especially since it would be awesome for the host country to win, but South Africa may end up retaining it because of their strong form, when looking at the Super 14 teams.

It will be interesting to see what happens with the Tri-Nations, Six Nations and the Air NZ Cup as well as the Women's RWC this year.

Finally a joke:

A little boy is in the middle of a custody battle in the family court and the judge asks him to choose which parent to live with.
When asked about living with his father, the boy said "No, I can't live with Dad, he beats me terribly."
"Okay," said the judge, "Then you want to live with your mother, right?"
"No way!" replied the boy, "She beats me worse than Dad does."
The judge was a bit confused by this, and didn't quite know what to do. "Well, you have to live with someone, so are there anyone you would like to stay with?"
"Yes," the boy answered, "The Highlanders, they don't beat anybody."

(Well not entirely true, they did win 3 games this year but still ended up with the wooden spoon.)

And I'm not a huge fan, but when a big game is on, like a country test match (although I will be checking out the world cup), I'll sit down and enjoy a game.
