We have some really old trams that do a loop around the centre city. The mayor decided to extend the route, therefore annoying a number of businesses along the new route. It's mostly for tourists but there's also a restaurant on a tram.

Then there's Ferrymead Historic Park where on certain Sundays during the year, they'll have a steam train going up and down the track.

And Steam Scene to the north of the city where they hold the swap meets and let people get up close and personal with locomotives.

My inner child loves this thread. I was obsessed with trains as a toddler...
