Re: Zombie apocalypse
*steals Ana's spot* sorry bud ;P
The huge V8 in Tom's Custom made Aston Martin DBS roared into life for the first time in years. Tom tried but failed to suppress a smile as he looked out over the open highway leading to Eibmoz city.
"Now this is going to be fun" He said to himself as he put on his aviator sunglasses and waited for the hardtop roof to fold down. He pressed play on his built in stereo system and waited to see which song shuffled on. After a few seconds Jonathan Quarles ~ War Cry of the Paladin came on.
"How fitting" Tom quipped as he put his foot to the floor and let the 500 horsepower engine do its thing. "How fitting indeed."
*some time later*
As Tom approached the city it was obvious that the zombies had not yet escaped the city walls but the damage they were causing to the city was devastating. The stench of burning flesh hung heavily in the air and Tom had to block it out to prevent him from throwing up.
"Bloody hell those zombies have made a mess of the city" He exclaimed, " I hope they haven't destroyed the anti virus...."
As he reached the city borders he started to think about how he was going to get into the city with out letting any zombies out or getting killed. After some deliberation he decided that there was no easy way about it and that he was going to have to climb into the city going up the wall brick by boring brick. Tom stepped back from the wall intending to get a running jump and to see how far he would actually have to climb. As he stepped backwards he noticed that the top of the wall was curved inwards, then outwards creating a ledge so that the walls were impossible to climb.
"Crap." He muttered "Now I'll have to find another way in." So he decided to check the trunk of his car to see if he had any useful objects stored away. After 5-10 minutes of searching through all of his secrets compartments hidden throughout the car he discovered a long piece of rope with a grappling hook attached.
"Right this'll do" Tom threw the hook up to the top part of the wall where it caught on something. Just as Tom started to climb the cities defence mechanism sent a couple hundred volts though his rope causing him to fly off it and land on the sand about 10 foot away from the wall
"God dammit!" he shouted "Who the hell made this city?!"

Re: Zombie apocalypse
I'll take my spot, thank you Tom. x3
You'll regret it now, Ana. You didn't believe me. Jay thought, as he glanced around the street he had once placed cricket in. It was in ruins.
That'll teach you to go and say things aren't true. You may be older than me, but I can be right. Dad thought so. But Dad doesn't matter, does he? Dad's gone. Jay's temper was slowly rising with every thought. He started walking down the road, staring at all the houses being engulfed by haze.
It was all gone.. Destroyed. Destroyed by the mythical creates known as zombies.
Jay knew what he had to do. He had to find his big sister. He had to help in any way possible.. but he was a kid. That's what Ana always called him. A kid. A child. Incapable of anything special and significant. But Jay was going to prove her teenage thoughts wrong. Hopefully.

From sitting on the chair, Ana couldn't see inside the room. A haze was starting to form around the town, or so it seemed. Felix had told her to "stay put and not move", so she obeyed, unwillingly.
".. -ould we do with it?"
"It could be useful for research.."
"Isn't the lab under lockdown?" The conversation drooled on for what seemed like days.
"Do you hear that?" Ana guessed Alderos asked. Then it fell silent. Curious, Ana slowly stood up. She edged towards the splintered door-frame and slowly poked her head around the door.

Re: Zombie apocalypse
Shadz itched his head. This was getting nuttier by the minute. And above all, the zombies were eating his fruit. So much for that. While the others stood around Alderos and his mysterious key card, Shadz picked one of the fallen pencils strown around the room. Picking up a particular sharp one, he threw it with pinpoint accuracy at one of the zombies nomming on his watermelon. Embedding itself deep into it's brain, it dropped like a rock, slithering down the tailgate. Shadz grunted and mumbled 'Thats going to need some soap to clean'. One by one he threw more and more until all the zombies dropped into a big pile around red watermelon flesh.
Looking back at the group, they still sat there arguing about that key card. Finally sick of it, he turned to the group.
'I'm going to go find a hardware store.'
Immediately, Gurpus turned to him. 'Protect yourself hillbilly, as irratating as you are, I don't want you fighting us...'
'Yes daddy.'
With that, Shadz turned his heel to the group and jumped out the window, heading toward the street in search of a hardware store and some new supplies.
As he trudged along the street, he begun to get sick. All around was blood, flesh, and some ooze leaking out of the downed zombies. He heard a crunch, and with a sharp hunting knife in his head cleanly cut an approaching zombies head off. Crunching down with the heel of his boot, the skull impaled it's brain.
As he turned to a sign boasting 'Franks Hardware', he pulled his sledgehammer off his back. With a kick, he sent the door flying inward. Luckily, only one zombie gnawing on a man, possibly Frank, was there. With a swift motion, that zombies head now had a beautiful hole in it along with some other ones from previous encounters. Locking the door back, Shadz went to check the rest of the rooms to make sure it was missing zombies. As he climbed to the roof, he looked in the direction of the mayors house.
What he saw slowly climbing the rubble leading to the exact hole he had come from chilled him to the bone...he had to warn them, and quickly.

Re: Zombie apocalypse
Tom kicked the city wall out of pure anger at not being able to pass it.
"Computer!" He barked, "Find the schematics of this god damn city and find us a way in!" Within minutes of receiving the order his built in car computer had created an ideal route of entry through the sewer systems into the city.
"Time to get this party started" he said as he put his aviators and his foot to the floor shooting off in the direct of the sewer entrances.
As Tom approached the sewer entrance he noticed something strange. The sewers, thankfully, didn't reek of human faeces or anything for that matter. Nevertheless Tom continued on to where the sewers opened out into a river. When he arrived at the point where the sewers joined the river it became obvious to him that it would be stupidly easy to get into the city this way
"No wonder they have all the illegal immigrants now, I think it's time this Killjoy made some noise" and with that he floored it and started the short drive through the sewer system to the centre of Eibmox City & The Badgerz Headquaters.

Re: Zombie apocalypse
Story killer shadz. >.>
Felix and Vampi waited behind the doorway until all the soldiers had left.
“Oh, dear god..” Vampi repeated. “That was... Horrific.”
“We’ve both seen worse Vampi, we’ll get through it, and the trauma will pass.”
“No, not me I have never seen anything like that before, I don’t think it will ever pass.” Vampi told Felix, sitting down on a small crude stool.
“You’re going to have to get used to it.” Felix said, arms crossed gazing through the window. “We don’t have a choice.” He finished, turning back to Vampi. “I’ve got to get back, and show you to the rest of the group.” Felix told Vampi, lending her a hand to get off the stool. “You have a ride?”
“You’re going to love this, Felix.” Vampi said, pulling up her head revealing a smile as she tossed the hair out of her face.
“Dodge viper.” She said. Felix smiled.
They quickly hurtled at a high speed through the city, witnessing many deaths, the stench of dead bodies sifting through the once pure air. “This is madness I tell you, we need to get out of here.” Vampi began. “We’ll get the group find a helicopter, and get the hell out of here.” She finished, swerving around a zombie, forcing her to brake and change to 4th gear as she did a long skid around the corner.
“No, badgers agency is prepared for this kind of thing, they’ll have an anti-virus, I’m going to have to go back to the facility...”

Re: Zombie apocalypse
"OHMYGODTHATWASTOOCLOSE" Tom screamed as he narrowly made it onto the roads within the sewers.
"Thank god they have these" he thought to himself "Now lets hope theres nothing nasty down here" and with that he dropped a gear and accelerated on through the sewer system. After about 20 minutes and 5 wrong turns later and Tom shot out of the sewers in the outer section of the city.
"Finally! now where is the ci-" Tom stopped dead. The city was in ruins. "My god....how did zombies do this much damage....it's unreal..." Tom stared at the wreckage around him. Everywhere he look there was fire, destruction and zombie bodies. It was like nothing he had ever seen before or ever would again. The air was thick with smoke and fumes from the burning buildings. The roads were littered with zombie bodies some half alive others dead. Cars were overturned. Windows smashed. Tom had a feeling there was more to this than he had been told about in the briefing.
*Flashback*
"So these are just normal zombies?" Tom had asked.
"Yes." Had been the simple reply.
"No special mutant powers? They aren't 60 foot tall are they?"
"Nope, just your average zombies."
*Real Time*
"Basic zombies my..." Tom was cut off by the sound of a large helicopter flying overhead. He instinctively dived under his car and waited until the noise had passed. "Must be evacuating citizens..." he thought.
