Rank Requests
Sun Jan 10, 2010 10:23 am by V
With all the rank requests recently, I thought I'd make a central thread where they could all be requested.
Costs of ranks:
Custom Rank 7,500 Points
Colored/Bolded Rank 15,000 Points

Taking a step back.
Hey guys.
TR depends on the activity and motivation of it's members. If some of you have lost interest of TR, then it will fall. If you have, you should leave. However, if you think TR has lost it's potential, then you're wrong. TR's potential depends on your motivation to make it a great clan. I can host cons, contests, and make new frogzards; but the greatness of the clan ultimately relies on if you guys are motivated about it.
I think we need to take a few steps back, and ask what TR truly means to us. Is it just a gaming clan? A place to share our art? A place where our friends are? TR's destiny isn't written in stone. Our website host is very flexible, and we can convert it into whatever we need. Whether you guys want to continue having AQW cons, taking a more artistic approach on the game, or turn the site into something else- It's all up to you. I just need to know that you guys are still interested in TR, and what you're willing to do (and maintain) for it.
College has cut my time for TR significantly, so I'm not going to contribute the 6 hours a day to the community I have in the past. However, I will still be able to be on here regularly. You guys are my clanmates, and I love you! I just need to know what you guys want for TR. There's no wrong answers here, speak your mind. (No flaming.)

Re: Taking a step back.
I think we all need to remember what brings people into TR, and that is the community itself. Any group in the world can make any rules or promises and grant success, but if the community is full of employees of jerk-town, we have a problem and people will leave. I think TR needs some more interaction between its members, as they are my favorite part of TR. I sense the hunger within the group, and a decline of convention activity makes me think that we need to implement for features for the forum itself as a top priority.

TR is a great clan, and the artistic community is great. But I think that RP has become a spiraling ball of flames that will continue to descend to it's doom. The whole "Advanced/Intermediate" split up combo whatever thing really killed it in my opinion.
Also, I believe there should be a Star Trek section of the clan, as well as a Half-Life section.
That is all.
This issue has been on my mind for some time now... And perhaps its time to take some of my ideas to the public. Thank you for your interest. ~ Xusha

I'd say its still holding on, the forums might not have much chatting going on, but when news spread althoughout the game, people will set up meetings and stuff, And cons, they really show our alliance's true spirit.

I agree with this. Any ideas of how we can enrich the social aspect of the community?

This would be a great opportunity for everyone to flex their digital art muscles. Plus, we could make a TR kingdom and link it to member's houses.

I don't think we have a problem with anything. It just seems people join then just fade away as if it never happens. I think those people have not truly grasped the "awesome sauce" that is TR and how great it can be.
I personally think things will be much better once AQW gets a guild system. It will promote the clan more and may boost activity.

I am a perfect example of inactiveness. I haven't been very active in TR for a while. I love being part of this community, though, it's an honor when I meet every single one of you. It's not the name that makes our clan, it's the genuine people in it, every single one of you can become more active if you try. I will, and maybe you guys should, too. It can be hard too, I understand. I always love sharing words with fellow clan mates and I don't want that taken away by anything. I salute you all.

Gryf, could you tell me why it's difficult to stay active? Maybe we could make it easier for members.

Re: Taking a step back.
If TR linked itself to Whirled, I might start playing it again. The reason I left Whirled was because of people flaming my avatars.

Re: Taking a step back.
What I think:
I am most definetly still intrested in TR, I just gotta work on my Sig and Avvy e.e, anyways I thank you for creating this wonderful place. Since I've joined TR I have met new friends.
What I suggest:
Maybe a themed TR for (almost) every occasion. I.E Halloween, Easter, V-day, Saint Pats, etc etc. But then again, maybe this sounds alittle childish.

Re: Taking a step back.
My time is also about to be cut as well, the time-cutting has actually already began. School starting up Tuesday will limit me yet again.
The Whirled idea is great imo. My plans would be to create a giant castle, AKA "Castle TR" and let every member of TR thats proven themselves to be active put in something that resembles/represents themself, which could also be a portal to the member's room. For example I could put in my pixel and make it a portal back to my home.
I'm going ahead and blaming Summer for inactivity. People have so much extra free time that they can do more than just log onto a computer for a couple minutes, or an hour or two.
We need to implement something that will make TR actual help members ingame, and give them a purpose to join. Suggestions are setting up times for group farming, and having a get-together on Fridays for the releases.
