Your Awesome Pictures VIII

Post by Chamberino on Sat Jan 29, 2011 4:19 am

Winnie wrote::P Thanks. I'm working on drawing Artix (I haven't done that in awhile!) So I'll be sitting here waiting for someone to say something for awhile. ;)

Also. Wow. 30 pages.

Voila!

Maybe I'll color to later. ^^

Aeonarial wrote:Thanks winzorz also here is an armor I started on before I got winnie's http://swf.venthemiux.org/view/z7kpn

Winnie wrote:No problem. ^^ Feel free to change it around, it's just a simple idea anyways.

That Artix sketch is FREAKING AWEESSOMMMEEEE!

Aeon, cool concept. I'd recommend using a base for making armors, it helps keep everything proportionate. If you want, I can upload my base for you. What version of flash are you using?

Aaaaaammmgggg. Winnie, that sketch is too good for words. Love the simplistic details, your style... yeah.

Aeon, I'm liking it. Whilst it's unfinished, it's still pretty good, even though there's room for improvement in the shading/proportions. After all, no art conceivable can ever truly be complete. Fact of life. Law of physics. Call it what you want.

At any rate, I like 'em both, keep it up!8.swf

Decided to end my art/animation-posting inactivity today. :D

Here's a little unfinished animation I've been doing:

Will post the finished version soon.

EDIT:

FINISHED! :D

I tried new things on this, and it didn't totally fail! Hooray!

Winnie: I love how you took Artix and put him into your own style, rather than just drawing him, its a whole new perspective on his character.

Aeon: The concept of the armor looks good, and the shades red and grey really go well together, but as with Tim I think you should get a base to put it on so it stays proportional.

Weena: It really looks epic, but one thing you need to work on is the hand twirling the sword, it needs to do some sort of movement other than just sliding backwards.

Woah, Weena! That's amazing! I can't animate stuff at all. >_<

And yesterday was the premiere of the Rollercoaster the Musical episode of Phineas and Ferb... so I drew this.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I watch Phineas and Ferb... but Vamp watches AdventureTime!

To be fair though, Winnie, I've never seen Phineas and Ferb do this:

Drawing looks good though. The added detail with the design sheet was nice.

It's cute, but not done. I don't know if it's stupposed to be that way, but at times it seems like it's made of straight lines (Like on the shoulder plates). Try vectorifying it.

I know that's not an official term but whatever...

I was bored.

Try unselecting the second to bottom button on your toolbox.

Introducing Greennite, the Master of Bad***ery

Also, Winnie and Aeon: Have you guys considered Paint Tool SAI? The vectoring in it is superb and definitely far less expensive than Adobe Photoshop, Flash, and Illustrator (around $60). Plus I heard the color tools are really nice.

Winnie, i like the bust drawing. The crosshatching colors are very smooth.

Thanks. :)

I actually have CS5 now, (yayyy!) but I'm still learning how to use it.

And Rage, I really like the Greennite thing. Did you make it in a 3D program or are you just good at making it look like that?
