Weapon of Choice.

Alright, lets say: Hypothetically, that you lived in some sort of universe where fighting for your life was pretty much commonplace, probably a fantasy/sci-fi world like AQW.
Now, lets say, that in this world in which you had to fight, you could have acess to any fighting style/weaponry, how would you go about it, what styles of combat and weapons would you use? Mind you, this does not include energy beams and all that, just what a person could physically do in terms of fighting, weps can be a bit sci-fi.

I would probably have a mixed Fencing/WhateverccombatstyleBruceLeeuses* thing going (dual revolvers too) , what about you guys? (I would probably want a light sword, a lightweight steel medium sword or some sort of lightsaber thing would work best)

I would prefer to use blunt weapons like clubs or staves, since I have an intense dislike of seeing real gore. D:

As for fighting style, it would be any trick that allows me to survive.

Dual Swords for short range, a little Monster Hunter-esch, and a long bamboo pole for long range, preferably one that retracts and seems like it disappears into one hand size.

He doesn't have to move. As long as he can keep his distance and use his lance for area denial, the dagger wielding rogue is kinda s.o.l.

They're both defying the laws of physics though. In the real world both would be dead by one or two swipes of these monsters, and they couldn't move that fast.

It really depends on the terms. Are we talking like fight for your life sorta deal, or more like it's normal for people to just duke it out on the street?
