I cast rainbows into your darkness!

You cant physically cast absolute zero, as its not a form of energy, but rather the absence of such.

not really, casting and magic themselves imply pushing energy (that means mana) from your body or your surroundings into the area around you, cold and darkness arent energy, but absence of such, thus impossible

The exact opposite, you remove the energy and cause the decrease, also: its the reason why snow is cold
