An idea that I put in the chatbox for a TRE-type story that I am now in complete love with. Does anybody have improvements for it or think it could work?
There is a small group of people that have been refugeed away from there homes in war-torn middle Europe. A pleasent and welcomed thing to happen for them, however it happens a bit oddly. First of all they don't know where they are as they woke up with know detailed previous memory. Second of all they seem to not be in the same time period. Thirdly after three days of exploring where they are they don't see any people. It is their job they decide to just survive as best they can, rebuild humanity from the ashes. A new beginning for mankind?
Kind of post apocalyptic except there is no signs of people ever existing, no disaster stuff. Some animals and plants they don't recognise either. Perhaps they woke up hundreds of thousands of years after mankind when the earth is very different from now.
