Nicholas had just made it to school when the tardy bell rang. He let out a moan, and decided to just walk in instead of run. He was already late. Before he opened the door, someone slammed it shut. Garret Marko. Nicholas sighed as he dropped his back pack and looked at Garret, who had a black eye.

Nicholas: Lemmy guess. Samuel beat you up, so you're taking it out on me because you know Samuel is in class, along with the teachers, and I cant fight back.
Garret: Yup. And after I beat you up, Im gonna go and 'talk' with May.
Nicholas: Oh? and why would you do that?
Garret: Because I c-

Garret was cut off my a quick punch to the face from Nicholas, who quickly scooped up his backpack, and retreated into the safety of the school. He hated how there were people like that. People stronger than everyone else, who would use their strength to torture those weaker than them. Nicholas suddenly heard footsteps, and he thought it was Garret coming back for revenge. He quickly turned to see a man standing down the hall, wearing a black suit and sunglasses. Nicholas saw his class was right next to him, so he slipped in, the man in the suit staring at him. Nicholas looked around the class (The teacher was sleeping), looking for a seat, and saw one directly in between Samuel Wilson, and May Parker. Sam, Nicholas's best friend, was wearing a halloween mask, so to hide his face, and May was wearing a red shirt and jeans. May had dark brown hair, and blue eyes. Nicholas had quite the crush on her. Nicholas quickly maneuvered past all of the other chairs, and practically dove into the seat.

Nicholas: Hey Sam, what'd I miss?
Samuel: Ah, nothing much. Teach kind of dozed off in the middle of a lecture, so we're just talking with eachother.
Nicholas: Ah, thats cool. And what's up with you May?

May smiles
May: Oh, nothing, I'm just waiting for class to end.
Nicholas: Thats cool, I have a question, has Garret been bothering you lately?
May becomes silent
Nicholas: You can trust me...
May turns away from Nicholas, a troubled look on her face.
Nicholas: *sigh*
riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnngggggggg
The rest of the day is uneventful, and soon enough, Sam and Nicholas are walking home from school.
Samuel: So Nick, what happened this morning at school? I saw Garret messing with you
Nicholas: Nah, don't worry bout it. I punched him, so it's cool.
Samuel: *laughs* Well at least you're taking on my bursts of viole-
Samuel stops, looking down the street as three people come out from behind a tree. Nicholas sees them, then turns around, plotting an escape route. Three more come out behind them. When Nicholas looks forward again, he sees that Garret is among them.
Garret: Get em'.
