Why do you guys have to argue? Notch had the original vision and was able to sculpt it into being the huge success it is. Jeb and the new AI programmer have done some fantastic work as well and are giving the game the boost in content and functionality it needs to continue to be that success.

It's true that Jeb is being extremely productive though, which is great.

All that ended was our suffering at the vacationing, meaty hands of Notch.
Or so I heard. So besides the damn cat that you can tame(and turn it into an actual cat from a wild cat, ocelot or whatever) what else is there for Minecraft? Like in the upcoming release and future?

It's been months since I last played, I finally swore off of MC after realizing that making my thrilling underwater house complexes wasn't really that great when doing it in single-player. And Dig found this game too boring for his taste.

Mods didn't really fix the problem either because MC modding right now is poo poo, with a bunch of 'em conflicting with the others and it's hard to find other modpacks than YogBox or whatever since there's some god damn forum rules over at MC forums saying you can't post working modpacks.

Not to mention those mods that just didn't work for some reason.

So yeah, anything super awesome coming up that Notch failed to deliver?

Well skeletons and zombies got new pathfinding so you can't hid behind a tree anymore. Jeb is an upgrade from notch because he actually works on the game, but I can tell he's going to end up adding a bunch of useless stuff. Like Ocelots. They're useless.

Then again he did an awesome job with the jungle biome, and it looks REALLY good for those who haven't seen it.

I don't think that anyone can criticize Notch and praise Jeb at the same time. Without Notch, there would be no Jeb.

Alsooo, I'm going to make a Modpack so that I can have people like minecraft more.
