The problem with modpacks is not everyone likes the same types of mods.

Re: Minecraft!

That's what we got criticism/suggestions for, right?
Anyway, I know places to get mods, that's not a problem, problem is that whenever I started doing that, I was looking for some other mods too and finally when I found 'em, they refuse to co-exist with each other. Most of the time.

And I don't really know about Java files or whatever so I'm left there with a game that won't work unless I use one or the other mod. Sometimes I did get a bunch of mods to work together, but it takes a lot of restarting, wiping and re-adding mods whenever a mod I tried to add breaks everything.

And no it wasn't me trying to add mods from older versions either. Just the current mod conflict thing.

To make this relevant to MC a bit more than me bitching about it, Jeb should expand on the current crap more than adding new stuff. Some new craftable things from the current ores, maybe more ores, some new functions for gems. MORE MOBS, boss mobs and so on.

Maybe he is doing that. I'm sort of out of the loop with the dev so yeah.

Yeah I agree we need more things to do in minecraft. More ores and things to look for. Pretty stupid how notch turned it into an adventure game with a hunger system but barely added anything to look for.

Again, you can't criticize Notch for doing that. It's like, saying the person who invented the toilet is awesome and should keep making cool things, but the guy who invented indoor plumbing sucks and you're glad he's gone.

That analogy would work better if indoor plumbing barely worked and the inventor of the toilet also improved indoor plumbing so that it was usable.

It did work without Jeb. If you recall, a ton of the success Minecraft had was that it was a unique and fun game that Notch made by himself. Ex. Minecraft Classic (Creative) mode.

Anyways.... I like the jungles so much, I just wish there was an option to make the world all a jungle biome. ;.;

Yeah Cial, it worked. And then the more stuff notch added, it got slower and slower. There were people with computers running Crysis at max settings who had trouble with minecraft. Notch doesn't know how to optimize, and if it weren't for Jeb minecraft would be unplayable right now.

Yes, but you can't hate on Notch for that. He came up with the original game (albiet, some things stolen from infiniminer) and made it work. Eventually, he couldn't do it alone, and Jeb came in to pick up the pieces.

Notch is a fat lazy Swede.
Although that may have been an tautology regarding lazy and Swede.

Fat is a rarity though, considering the average Swedish male spends his time playing online Poker and WoW/SC2, they are surprisingly in shape.

I play Minecraft and what is this?

But seriously, end it. PMs are there for a reason.

Anyways, I hear Jeb is giving a sneak peak at the new jungle mob or something. *makes terrible attempt at OT discussion*
