Massive Gold Farming Currently

During the release, it has come to my attention that the quest "Fire Gem" rewards you with a weapon called "Burn It Down", which is worth a selling price of 200k.
That's right... 200,000 bloody gold!
The drop is very rare (takes about 40 minutes if you have decent luck), but hey... it's 200k gold!
Fire Gems are dropped by the Fire Skeleton Mages which are located in portalundead. Ironically, the quest is also given at the same location. To top it off, AE was also nice enough to let the quest giver have a shop, so you never have to leave the screen!
If you are in desperate need of gold, DO NOT PASS THIS UP! It's only a matter of time before this quest is gone, or that AE notices their "mishap" and fixes the selling price to something like 20k.

lol yeah i found that out at like midnight last night and spent an hour trying to get it, guess i have no luck...

i made over 3 mil today (3 mill cause i bought stuff like the godly mace and the 500k helm)

Well I still think Dwakel is better only because it is constant gold. I also like it better because of rep and gold earned. I made 1.7m off it so I think its pretty good.

I got the gem 6 times, I now have 2M again.. It only took me 6 hours ;P

This staffs sold for 200000 gold, which was one of (if not the) largest weapons sells in the game. However, the glitch was fixed on Feb. 16, 2009. The staff now sells for 12000 gold, yet the drop rate for Fire Gems is still incredibly low.
