I tried to connect to the internet with my DS while in the hospital, but the connection was really bad in certain parts of the room (mainly my bed). Eventually, I asked one of the nurses if my bed could be moved closer to the window in hopes that the connection would be better (with a side benefit of having a better view, lulz).

It worked! XD

Honestly? This is probably really mushy, but I'll go on anyways. Cryo/Lord Deathwing/My sweetheart and I met in high school. For the first year he absolutely did not want to be around me. I might even go so far as to say that he hated me, but I'm not sure if that is true. Either way, he believed certain rumours that were going around concerning me. We went about our lives seperately, never talking until we discovered that my boyfriend at the time was one of his old concert buddies. So that was pretty much all we had in common. Needless to say, things didn't go so well with the boyfriend. To make a complicated story short we're now coming up on our second year together and I couldn't have found a better, more understanding and loving person. To this day I am still baffled that it worked out (but thrilled that it did! I love you darling!)

This one happened when I was in fifth grade. There is no way it could EVER have ended well, except that it did...

I left the school I started fifth grade at in February. On my very first day at my new school, the kid who was supposed to sit next to me was absent. When he got back, he was way too much like me for the comfort of anyone, including himself. I believe his exact words were, "There's only room for ONE weirdo in this class, and that's me!" We then proceeded to have a weeklong contest to prove which one was weirder. He had the advantage of being the established weirdo of our school; I was in the habit of singing nonsense songs and using bizarre words and phrases from my family's private language. This sort of competition would normally be doomed to end badly, but at the end of the week, the contest was a draw and the two of us became friends. And pretty soon I started making other friends at school and church... including Winnie and Amara.
