I have a Toshiba Satellite L300. It's quite a sturdy machine. Does most things I want it to do and can withstand me accidentally tripping over and landing on it (which I've done about 3-4 times).
And like everything else I own, it has a special name, being 'JumperOne'.

Built it myself,
Antec nine hundred two case
A Amd Phenom X4 Processor
the 4890 model of THIS graphics card
6 gigs of RAM (upgradeable to 8 GB )
For perfect music remixing theres the X-fi titanium sound card
Didn't even cost me a 900 bucks, manages as much as a 1750 dollar PC you buy in an average store (yes, I actually tried finding an equivalent in my store xD).

My family is TOTALLY win: my dad's hobby is building his own computers.
Right now I'm playing on my brand-new, ultra-awesome, ultra-tiny Lenovo ThinkPad X100e netbook, running Windows 7 (not my favorite OS... so easy to accidentally open a program you don't want...), and named Jocelyn.
I also have my beautiful little IBM ThinkPad 600E laptop under my bed, running Windows 98 (Best. OS. Ever.), and named Thinky. There are members of TR who are younger than him, but if the laptop works... (And he does, as long as I don't want to use the Internet... and that was totally my fault, too, since I broke the Internet card and Win98-compatible new ones are REALLY hard to find.)
