whats the funniest thing that happend to you?

You want funny? I'll give you funny like you've never seen it before! Because my family is hilarious and possibly insane!

When I was in second grade, I was obsessed with Furbies. You've probably seen them, these cute little fluffy things that look like half-ovals with cat ears and dinky little feet and circular beaks. We got a LOT of writing assignments in second grade, and every single one of mine was about Furbies. I made up a complex Furby world, which involved everything from a main character named Xamferkit (who lived on Cloud 926 with her parents, Rifgen and Soo-ay, and her pet Thumguglobbabobber, which didn't have a name as far as I can remember) to a group of scary bad guys named Cattesses that came into people's rooms at one in the morning to attack anyone who wasn't asleep. It took me YEARS to stop being terrified at the thought of 1:00 AM.

But, anyway, I always ended up writing about Furbies. For some odd reason, my teacher got very tired of reading about them, to the point that, about three-quarters of the way through the years, she simply announced, "NO MORE FURBIES."

...

I didn't listen.

Well, it only gets weirder from there. Because, three years later, my brother ended up going to second grade in the EXACT SAME SCHOOL as I did. Which is only a surprise because he went to first grade some thousands of miles away. In fact, he ended up with THE SAME TEACHER. So, my brother had the same teacher. At the end of the year, we gave her a thank-you present: one brand-new Furby.
