I love the next chapter, I feel so bad for Thomas.. but.. wasn't he killed by ailens once he was abducted? And doesn't Caroline come back and have to tell the kids? When they were like, 15?

Winnie, you've got several details from The Story of the Sundry Family wrong, and I'm changing a few for the Saga as well. Let me explain:

1) You're right that Thomas was originally killed by aliens AFTER being abducted, but I decided to change that slightly to create dramatic tension and to agree with the direction his character has taken.

2) Her name is Carol, not Caroline, but yes, she comes back and tells the kids. I plan to incorporate that into the Saga, just in a slightly different way because of the differences in setting.

3) The original Story of the Sundry Family took place in the year 2000, with Juliana born in the year 1970. The kids were in their early thirties, but they hadn't moved away from home yet because there wasn't anywhere for them to move to.

Lol, yes, Vance is essentially Mr. Thin with MUCH better fashion sense and a lot more intelligence, not to mention a lot more hair. (If you don't understand, rest assured: in the original Sundry stories, Mr. Thin, also known with a touch of irony as "the Thin man," was a character who liked to wear shirts of a disgusting salmon-pink paisley. He was invented less than a month after the sleepover when Amara and I told our first story, meaning that we were still very early in our learning such vital concepts as plot and character development.) Well... actually I TOTALLY changed the character, to the extent that the only remaining hints of Mr. Thin are the existence his relationship with Emily (and even that was changed, and is much healthier now) and the identity of his... offspring. I'd love to say more, but I think I've already said too much, and I want to save some excitement and drama for the actual story.

Chapter 13 of the Saga is FINALLY up!!! I'm so, so sorry it took me so long, but technical difficulties prevented me from finishing until just now...
