I don't actually remember. :l It was a few years ago that I did it.
I think that the Firebrand's small chance of large damage applies to the Chickencow spam, which then makes you do large damage 10 or so times. I THINK.

Yeah, Guardian armor in DF is if you verify your AQ account if you're a Guardian.
