The Legend of Zelda Discussion

Post by Erik on Thu Sep 03, 2009 6:17 am

This is a topic to discuss Zelda games. I'm getting sick of the animation used in Wind Waker, etc. etc. So try to keep the talking about those to the minimum. Ocarina of Time was possibly the best game I have ever played. It had replay opportunity, a good difficulty level, and was overall a long, challenging, entertaining game. What did you think of Twilight Princess?

Twilight Princess was good for the continuity and "adult" Link feel that many fans where begging for.

Another gem you should definitely play is Majora's Mask if you want another story and increased difficulty. Otherwise, there's always Ocarina of Time "Master Quest" if you're lucky enough to have this exclusive copy.

I have Master Quest, and I still haven't tried out Majora's Mask yet. My friend got trapped forever by saving with 10 seconds left to get somewhere, and if he doesn't, the world ends or something. He might let me borrow it.

I only played The Minish Cap on GBA and Twilight Princess on GC.

Twilight Princess was awesome, good graphics, good gameplay..

I had TP on gamecube as well, eventually I think I got lost and then just stopped. I started playing again but had no idea where I was or what I was supposed to do with Midna's terrible hints. I really want to start playing again.

Yeah, I have Okami. I love the artistic depiction of the in-game world.

Majora's Mask is my favorite. You have three days to stop the moon from destroying hyrule Termina, or wherever you are.
Master Quest was alright by me, but in majora's mask you can change forms which makes it really fun by me.

Same as TP. When you enter the twilight, you'll transform in a wolf with nice abilities.

Aeon, thats what my friend got stuck on. He had like 10 seconds left, and saved, so he can't beat it now XD But I've been thinking about getting Okami, lots of good reviews and recommendations.

Majora's mask is good, So is Orcania of time, Majora's mask is a little.... not alot to do, tbh, its a pretty small map compared to Orcania of time tbh, i also think the boss at the end of Orcnia of time was far harder/better to face than a floating mask, were you can change into something that will kill it in about 1 minute... O.O

Any thoughts on Fierce Diety?

Idk, I don't know much about Majoras. But Ocarina of Time had an epic boss fight. Hit back dark ball, keep hitting it, finally get him, light arrow quick! Stab, stabby stab stab stab and so forth. Then, when you think its over, you get to fight Ganon! Wooooooooo.
