I sign in fine on Mac to the forum but on my apple mobile it won't accept my password.

I think if I sign in to the club site on my phone it will allow me to migrate to the forum. What unearth is the problem? Is it me being thick or some technobobble glitch on the tr register or forum site?

Inevitable somebody will ask: Why do I want to archive the forum? Because data loss can and does happen, and -- I believe -- did happen here a few weeks ago with the "Alec's Inn" subforum when I understand some forum-content was irretrievably lost. I would like to make sure that I have a safe copy of all the staggering tips, suggestions and tutorials that the TR-heads have so freely and kindly contributed over the years, so that they are never lost, whether by cock-up, conspiracy, nor any other unfortunate kind of mischance.

3.0 Forum Profiles & Usernames

3.1 Proper names and avatars are preferred as, in our opinion, they promote courteous behaviour and aid the moderators in spotting spam accounts.

3.2 Users who have connection to a TR related business are welcome to identify themselves as trade but MUST NOT use the forum as a means of advertising and canvassing for business either commercially or on behalf of other clubs.

3.3 Usernames or signatures deemed by the moderators or club officials as offensive will be requested to be changed. If the request is ignored, then the moderators or admin reserve the right to delete the user account.

3.4 Multiple Forum registrations for one individual are not allowed.

4.0 Content

4.1 By using any part of this forum you agree to abide by the forum rules. You agree not to:

The TR Forums requests you use the classifieds section of the TR Register Car Club website for the sale of vehicles and high value items (over £1,000), not the Forum.

4.1.8 Reproduce private emails, forum private messages or other correspondence without the express permission of the parties involved.

4.1.9 Reproduce deleted posts or start threads discussing them. If you think a post or thread should not have been deleted, contact the moderator at moderator@tr-register.co.uk

4.1.10 Post chain letters, pyramid schemes, SPAM or such like, or transmit any file that contains viruses, corrupted files, "Trojan Horses," or any other contaminating or destructive features that may damage someone else's computer.

4.1.11 Include signatures that promote a product or service (including web sites & clubs), company or of any perceived commercial gain.

4.1.12 Post material that is critical of or offensive to any INDIVIDUAL member of the sponsoring club, it’s staff, Management Team, officials, suppliers or club partners. Any complaints /critical comment regarding an individual should be addressed directly to the club office at office@tr-register.co.uk

4.1.13 Post any discussion of the sponsoring club internal matters. Promotion of the sponsoring club, its events and benefits of membership is permissible.

4.1.14 Regarding insurance matters, The TR Forums, its agents or employees are not authorised to give advice. Any view or opinion expressed about insurance matters on this Forum does not constitute advice from TR Forums, its agents or employees and should not be relied upon as such by any user of this Forum.

4.1.15 Post complaints or queries about the administration of TR Forums. Please contact the Forum moderator at moderator@tr-register.co.uk as this will provide a faster response.

4.1.16 Posts must not promote or assist unlawful or anti-social behaviour or acts.

5.0 Forum Etiquette

5.1 Please bear in mind that the whole of the Forum is PUBLICLY VIEWABLE and therefore the audience comprises of sponsoring club members, non-members, lapsed members and potential new members and those seeking to enter the TR community for the first time. All users have a duty to make others users from all backgrounds and walks of life feel welcome and to show off the TR Forums and wider TR community in a positive light.

5.2 Do not be critical of other members’ posts or start threads designed to be critical of others. If you are unhappy with another post or with the conduct of a member, please use the ‘Report’ button at the foot of every post.

5.3 Make sure that your message topics fit the description of the Forum or expect their movement by the Forum moderators.

5.4 Don't quote the entire message that you're responding to, only the pertinent bit (use the ‘quote’ option).

5.5 Don’t change the subject of a post when replying – many users scan headings only – stay on topic!

5.6 Only Post pictures that are suitably sized for their intended purpose, e.g. signature pictures do not need to be as large as those identifying technical detail. In many cases pictures are necessary to identify items referred to in posts and need to be easily viewable. Multiple large and/or lightly-compressed pictures slow the performance of the Forums; please remember that web pictures only need to be 72 dpi 640 x 480 and can be compressed easily.

6.0 Reporting Abuse or breaches of the Forum Rules

6.1 Action when using the ‘Report’ post button:

It seems that since the last update of the site the URL addresses for pages have been modified, hence all the Google data for the site is now void.

Anyone else found this issue? - or is it just my browser etc?

Done it loads of times before, but now get "server error during upload" message.

I got a notification that Roger H. had quoted my posting on Forum Links from the main site in one of his posts. So, I clicked on the notification to see what he had to say and was surprised to find out I had no permission to view the item. Remember this is a public posting by Roger quoting me !  I have completed the help section

Obviously a glitch but pretty basic stuff, can we fix it please

I can't see anywhere in the new login area where I could change this? I believe I would need to do this for the forum too, or are they one and the same now?

Edit: I have successfully changed the forum email address. Still unable to change the member one though, tried in the new member area and also on the main TR Register site, but I can't change it? 

Please may that be corrected?  Otherwise, it requires a change of mental gear ratio to find the quoted post!

My TR4 (ALP 71B) was stolen 22 November in the early hours from Leigh on Sea in Essex. Some form of pick up vehicle was used - Police advise that it was not driven on any roads that evening.

Picture attached. Very pretty really (my view anyway).

The vehicle was in very good condition. Details as follows

Body white (no rust - the car was purchased from TR Bitz having been restored by them about 18 months ago)

Surrey Top (new addition with new lining)

Other new additions - sports exhaust manifold and large bore exhaust, electronic ignition and new SU carburetors & fuel pump.

Interior was blue with white piping (new).

White dash and original steering wheel.

Mileage 94,300.

Chasis No CT57740

Engine No CT5846E

I had just fitted a reconditioned back axle as well.

Keep a watch out for me. You never know.

What could be  doing this?    On my hard disk and if I paste the pic elsewhere, it comes out upright!

I have tried changing my user name and my password to no avail.

if I try to log in I get user not recognised, if I try using my email I get other member using that email. If I try to join under a different user name again I get another using that email. I still get group area updates by email.

my last working user name was Richard65.
