  1. Good advice Niall, change back to cast manifold and have an override switch for the electric fan. Alan G
  2. Agreed Rich, EP Services from Wolverhampton do a superb job and not overly priced either. Alan G
  3. Guys I remember a few years ago I purchased a "lower aspect" boot seal for my TR6, same as original but of less height and it worked very well too. Trouble is I can't remember which supplier I bought it from, any ideas? I have broatched this request with a couple of suppliers and they think I am an idiot ( rhetorical statement) any help would be appreciated. Alan G
  4. Hey guys we should think ourselves honoured really....... its in Italy! Alan G
  5. Ironically just had my six MOT'd today, gets one every year as it makes sense to me. Clean bill of health for SGY1L for another year. Alan G
  6. This has been up for sale for years, guess that's not a surprise to anyone here! You really have to ask WHY? Its hideous. Alan G
  7. The TR5 had its own wheel and so did the CP25000 series 1969 TR6 then after that there was the 15" 1970 to late 1972 (effectively the later CP series from CP5000 onwards) item fitted up to autumn 1972. After that and starting at CR1 the 14 1/2" later generic steering wheel came in up to end of production. Alan G
  8. The 1969 TR6 always had its own steering wheel right from the start, no carry over with the TR5 wheel. Alan G
  9. Why ?? Its a TR not a current Lotus or even an MX5. Is this a disease, to add extra unnecessary complication, expense and work to a 50 to 56 year old car (TR6) seems wrong to me. Alan G Tin hat, Anderson shelter and FX3 taxi already ordered!
  10. You just can't beat the rossies..........
  11. Forgot to ask Dave please enlarge on the "security system" as my Royal Blue (original colour) G reg TR6 will be featuring Rossies too. Alan G
  12. Superb Dave, it just makes your 5 look like a proper 5 again. Alan G
  13. I think this is the item you require. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/115170768796?_skw=tr6+car+parts+and+accessories&itmmeta=01KJX8MMBNVXB0WFQVQX0J4FRM&hash=item1ad0b6779c:g:4RUAAOSwU8ph1YcQ Regards Alan G
  14. Hey chaps I totally agree, lever arms everytime for me too and yes I have tried adjustable telescopics more than once and found them lacking in rebound control making the car feel not like a TR6 at all. Go levers. Alan G
  15. Guys its not a satin black but a matt black. Alan G
