  1. Although, happy days, got home from work tonight:
  2. Then I thought what was that smell - me drilling into my wiring loom.
  3. A couple of updates. I tempted fate with the wiring question. Before that I started to explore the rust not good. Template made.
  4. What about furniture dye? You could sponge black dye onto it? Thanks

I have a few of these in work, they are fantastic and it makes you wonder how you can justify spending £3k+ on an Ultimaker anymore.
  6. I think I’ll need some guidance with all of my wiring later
  7. Thanks Stuart, I’m surprised as well, given the state of the inner wing. A little bit of welding to do but much easier without the wing in place.
  8. Loving the spot weld drill. Some nice green bits to cheer me up:
  9. You can see just how rusty that panel was. Glad I picked up a new replacement one. Measurements taken before cutting the old one out. I’ll check the bonnet once I’ve tacked it in.
  10. Well, there was so much dirt on the master cylinder bracket I didn’t realise it simply lifted off. All done and soaking at the moment, some pics of progress regarding the removal of the inner wing. Looking forward to fitting the new panel hopefully tomorrow night.
  11. How do I remove the plate? It’s loose but the pedals where they attach to the cylinders are preventing me just lifting it off. Dropping the pedals out won’t make a difference I don’t think. Need to explore further. Thanks
  12. Well, this isn’t much fun. How do I remove from the pedals? Thanks
  13. I've been using Screwfix's No-Nonsense degreaser to soak bolts etc, only used it for floors up until now, cheap and easy.
  14. Thanks, I get it now. Appreciated.
  15. In your photo, is the dotted line where the cut goes or is it the larger slot? Sorry Roger I don’t quite follow
  16. How does that make a difference Roger?
  17. Does that also release the bracket holding the master cylinders in place?
  18. Just picked a replacement up on ebay.
  19. Lucky find. Removed the steering column today and found this missing. Need a replacement now.
  20. Just ordered a solid state Voltage regulator. Inner wing coming off soon.
  21. Should I have two bolts going through my bracket to bumper through the chasis. Brackets removed for painting but there was only one bolt.
  22. Looks like they have been done.
  23. It’s not the wishbone brackets, I have removed the brackets for the front bumper. Will check those now.
  24. Is it just the three nuts to loosen to remove the bracket for the master cylinders? Thanks
  25. Wow, that is a detailed upgrade and link Dale, thank you. I'll investigate further. Thanks
