  1. Thank you, was concerned on top of everything else the blood I have left would rush to my head. cheers Derek
  2. Well it was actually yesterday, although cloudy it was dry and I was feeling good after my transfusion so a trip to Dartmouth seemed a good Idea in the 6. I managed a coffee and some fish, before making my way home. Enjoyed it a lot having been stuck in home between Hospital stays. Hi Bob I can’t get this the right way up could you do your best?

As a teenager we had a year when you could get 1/2 a crown for grey squirrel tail and 10 shillings for a foxes, paid by the zoo, apparently it was overrun by them coming in from the woods behind. We spend lots of time in the woods often going there from very young age. From there you could get into the zoo too if you knew how. Great to be a child then having access to beeches and woods.
  5. Bin As stated on tin, not only good stain cover, It works well as a primmer on bare wood, helping prevent knots burning through. Brush clean after easy with meths. I use it regularly in my rentals works well.
  6. I am interested in this topic so can I ask could we use larger text please. Thank you.
  7. I believe you do give that rule considerable latitude John.
  8. As I believe has been standard practice over many years.
  9. Thank you Rob I am pleased to hear it, and take your valued point. Let’s get it right this time. apologise if I have offended.
  10. Rod and others I agree, I believe it is a shadow of its former self, and in part the yes lack of ability to have discussions. The comment it was “taken away”, The vote took it away. It took my TRR forum, a club benefit, something that I contribute towards and gave it away so that others can participate free of charge, plus then continued listening to those ceasing contributing. Why? On the presumption the forum can continue to be enriched by non contributing members posts. Well I have not seen anything over the past 12 months that I could not have found by searching data posted over the past decades. Then to say the members didn’t know what they were voting for. So what that saying because a number of individuals prominent here on this forum whip up support and others just follow that doesn’t say much about our fellow members. That’s what hit me that what prompted my response. Yes Rob there are ways to get members involved, perhaps not quickly but to a wider audience, put your intentions in the TR Action in advance, get others involved but perhaps it would not get the response they hope for. I too liked what we had, just not sure to get it back will not involve more expense to the club to achieve it, but don’t tell me I lost my forum because members didn’t take the time to know what they voted for.
  11. May i comment. How is it that a Topic “ Car Feast” ends up just before a members meeting, manages to bring in a post about having a TRR members only section, here on a independant forum. apparently previously taken away. Why, because membership did not know what they were voting for. As I see it what we had taken, a TRR owned forum, now replaced with an independent Self regulated forum which the register pay for. The comments like the majority of TRR members are not interest in the forum, what I saw, a large number of what were known as forumites were not interested in other activities, and this is a large reason for this change, plus a loss of TRR paying membership that now has free access. Has it improved the forum? our we getting a vast number of non members input? I can’t tell but another comment seems to question that, even the suggestions it’s the opposite a shadow of its self. Apparently all it achieved then is less members of a great club. I’ll await the flack, but would prefer this bring round a removal of this and all comments relating to the AMM proposals and perhaps TRForum members find another way to drum up a following to get TRR changes that would not be necessary had it not been for what occurred this time last year, or perhaps just be careful of what you vote for in the first place.
  12. The vehicle looks good Pete, and should tow the home made camper van. Glad you posted and kept them short. 😊
  13. It seems not so far, I won’t be surprised if charged by the mile is extended in due course.
  14. Lovely sunny day, had to take car out, breakfast at Moorland Hotel, followed by a drive then lunch at the Rugglestone before making our way home and seeing rainbow in distance, fortunately missed any rain.
