  1. It seems not so far, I won’t be surprised if charged by the mile is extended in due course.
  2. Lovely sunny day, had to take car out, breakfast at Moorland Hotel, followed by a drive then lunch at the Rugglestone before making our way home and seeing rainbow in distance, fortunately missed any rain.
  3. I don’t know, but having been part of a team, trying to make some thing happen with those disagreeing and when votes going against, can get people throwing toys out of the pram, it can be frustrating and time consuming. I think it was a case of too many chefs, having to agree everything, checking, then waiting for a response. Smaller teams get things done quicker especially then you have been doing it successfully for decades. So taking on the organising task alone seems a good choice, but not to offend and keep everyone on board an offer to share in the profits. Who would have guessed that would offend as you say money for nothing. I think I would say thank you can we do anything to help on the day, even ask if the organiser can include something specific could work, but that’s just an opinion.
  4. Strictly !!!
  5. It’s true that in recent years we have been putting on a joint event, I’m guessing trying to put on an event is stressful, I’m sure trying to do it with three separate organisation is even more stressful. The TR Register have been running similar week end events successfully in its name for decades, while making it clear that other clubs internationally were more than welcome to participate. It appears to me from the tittle this is not and was not ever intended to just be just a TR Register event, it’s a universal car event, but being organised by the TR Register. it is about sharing the risk and the work load as events are becoming more expensive. and every club has less volunteers these days. So Tscc join us and make it a successful event, an event that has a time and tested format over decades. Make this “Car Club Fest” your clubs annual event too with no financial risk and join with other long standing great car clubs. While undoubtedly better communication is always preferable, (where have we heard that before), It’s not the time or in anyones interest to take umbrage may I suggest. Ps While as stated it’s not about profit, If it makes it easier perhaps an incentive to clubs, for those of its member that purchase tickets via their club a proportion of the entry fee goes to the club, which they can keep or distribute as a discount for their members. just a thought.

    TR Register Insurance

Everyone has their opinion, I have mentioned the benefit negotiated on behalf of a TRR members before. It l’s printed in the TR Action. I refer to those as the Key features, but then the actual wording, the fine print. I suggest read your policy then ask the new provider will my policy cover this, what happens should this happen, then make your decision. Now I have no need or desire to question Tony C knowledge regarding the in’s and outs of an Insurance policy documents, specifically regarding the wording (what you can do and can’t) what benefits scheme provides. Just to say not all policies are the same, and I tend not to rely on mine is better than yours. That’s for individuals to determine for them selves. But I looked up Trust pilot. Cherished Vehicle insurance which Pete Barrett on behalf of Howdens administers it, alongside the TR Register Insurance which has the majority of the features provided by our TR Register Insurance services. I was pleasantly surprised, trust pilot rates it 4.9 out of 5 Classifications (excellent). I also looked up Adrian Flux and looked on Facebook. Shared experience…..
  7. Some might find it boring but I enjoy the South Ham round trip, especially when joined by members of one’s family plus the dog. 😊.
  8. Went there years ago and cleared it up, the building behind was a veterinary practice. Got on to the land owners and they made further repairs. Looks better now and considerable safer.
  9. Treat for the wife putting up with me for for 50 + years, well actually a treat for us both. Last time we were here was the mid/ late 80’s

    TR Register Insurance

Did Anyone contact Andy the club insurance liaison, details found in the TRaction, perhaps he could have helped, if not don’t leave it to claim handlers, if it’s not completly to your satisfaction, speak to Pete Barrett or Ali at Cherish, they deal with the TRRegister Insurance. Please read your full policy document details and that of any other which you may be looking at and getting a quote, then decide what’s best for your self.

I know it’s not car related but worth a mention in my book, England ladies beat France dames. Great game, great play from both sides.
  14. Thank you I have sent a PM perhaps you could give more information. Regards Derek
