BRENDA1 Posted April 30, 2025 Report Posted April 30, 2025 Morning the Register are on E1 opposite start/finish, have a good trip over. Mike Redrose Group Quote
Misfit Posted May 20, 2025 Report Posted May 20, 2025 (edited) My wife and I plus other Devon member met up on Sunday with Malcolm and Rosemary Tatton for Sunday Lunch at the Fisherman’s Cott, he and Rosemary were joining Paul Hogans on his coast to coast run which started there. I stayed on for a while after lunch to see others members of his club and the register to arrive. Due to a opp on my chest I wasn’t driving my TR but I took the XF and joined some of his group at the ship Inn Noss Mayo Monday and again at Brendon Arms Bude today. It was great to see so many members I had not seen for a while. Thanks Paul and Malcolm and everyone for making Janet and me Welcome. Edited May 20, 2025 by Misfit Quote
Rod1883 Posted May 20, 2025 Report Posted May 20, 2025 (edited) We were just leaving as you arrived Derek as we decided to get back to Sussex before the forecast rain arrives tonight and tomorrow - aeroscreens aren't much fun in the rain on a long journey. We set off from Bude at ~1.30, stopped in Blandford Forum at ~4.30 for about an hour for a drink and a bit to eat, a fuel stop in Salisbury just after ~6pm and back home at 5 to 8. About 5 and a quarter hours driving, covering ~ 175 miles - not too bad. We did ~225 miles today including the run from the Fishermans Cot to Bude this morning. No where's far in a TR! Steve-B Posted July 3, 2025 Report Posted July 3, 2025 Besides TRs I love watches, especially small British firms. We Went out tonight to a customer appreciation event in Sonning Common at the Marloe Watch company HQ. Loverly roads around there and they sat aside special parking in front for classic cars. Got there and parked up and when we went back out had these beautiful Espirit Turbos on either side… Quote
Rod1883 Posted July 8, 2025 Report Posted July 8, 2025 Stopped off at Stourhead at ~midday today on our way home from the North Cornwall coast, just South of Bude. Parked next to this lovely Swallow Doretti at Stourhead Quote
Misfit Posted July 27, 2025 Report Posted July 27, 2025 Locally garden opened to generate money for charity. Greatcombe Holne, Dartmoor. Nestled deep in a valley. This amazing garden you wouldn’t know was there. Created over 40 years by a husband and wife couple, which they open to raise money for charity twice a year. Stunning. Quote
Misfit Posted September 30, 2025 Report Posted September 30, 2025 Treat for the wife putting up with me for for 50 + years, well actually a treat for us both. Last time we were here was the mid/ late 80’s Quote

RogerH Posted December 31, 2025 Report Posted December 31, 2025 Popped out to the Ace Cafe for a cuppa. Had a chat to some bikers with some beautiful modern bikes. Then drove around Wembley and onto home. Roger Quote

TR NIALL Posted December 31, 2025 Report Posted December 31, 2025 Our annual New Years Eve gathering we meet at the location of the old Triumph Works Factory at Percy Place where the TR2/3s were built from CKD Kits and then off for a spin to Powerscourt House for Coffee. Quote
Tony_C Posted February 9 Report Posted February 9 Just followed a really nice looking royal(?) blue ‘6’, NUY 13K, past the Epsom Downs race course at around 13:50. Top down, two up and driving it ‘properly’…. I do love it how the 5 + 6 squat down at the rear end when the accelerator is applied with some gusto! Anyone on here? It seems to be a local car. Quote
Tony_C Posted yesterday at 10:05 AM Report Posted yesterday at 10:05 AM Just, 10:45 today, saw a nice 3A (….. CUP registration?) followed by a 3 (maybe Bob Lebro’s car?) with a Rover 90 sandwiched in the middle heading past Langley Vale / RAC club upto the racecourse Quote
Lebro Posted 20 hours ago Report Posted 20 hours ago (edited) Yep, that was us ! You forgot to mention the Singer Gazell behind 100 CUP Bob Edited 20 hours ago by Lebro Quote
Tony_C Posted 16 hours ago Report Posted 16 hours ago 👍 Completely missed the Singer Bob……. Question is, how could you let two old saloons get in front of you? 🤔😎 Quote
Lebro Posted 13 hours ago Report Posted 13 hours ago (edited) That is how we set off on a car club (not this one) run. My issues with the order was that the Rover was burning more oil than it should, & was quite unpleasant to follow, we quickly dropped back a bit to give the fumes a chance to dissipate !
