I could not remember where I got the idea for my crane, looks like it was you John.

I changed it a bit, one forward leg instead of two and mounted the jack on the base leg. Also the lifting attachment is made to enable the box to be rolled on its axis. tilted up and down, and able to be rotated. The electric jack (from old treadmill) made an enormous improvement.

I have had a box/OD on the floor and been bolting it up in 10 mins, by myself.image.png.df1ffe7e8e81351cd2ba61200ba25324.pngimage.png.91916062775084a611b0ac0ced1d0269.png

Way you go 10 mins that’s good, My record is similar but the key, and the whole point of doing this was that it is a safe one man operation! Power to your elbow!!

Yes you are quiet right. Safe, easy, and being able to go solo, that's the go. With this set up I am far more willing to pull the box. Portability is also great. My unit is always out on loan. The electric lift is the clincher, nice and slow. One hand on the gearbox and one on the pendant.

Your unit was the inspiration, thanks. !0 mins was my best but about 20.-25 mins is the normal.
