A frame facia support

Hi all, I want to refurbish the A frame support bracket but cannot find the "crackle" finish paint, anyone know what it is called and where I can get it ?

Hi Ron,

 there are a number fo crackle finish paints that all work -

Rustoleum, VHT -   Halfords & Frost sell them. Possibly Moss have them.

There are several types available. the original ones needed 'baking' to work properly.

I used the VHT for what it is worth.  HOW you do it is as important as what you buy.  I used a heat gun in between coats.  There are nice videos showing a process that works, worked for me anyway.

Now that's a really nice job.

I too have used VHT with success, mine on the centre panel of a side screen car, seems to do what it says on the can!

I had mine done in  a textured powder coat finish.
