Dating quotes

I've just noticed.    It's most helpful if someone posts a reply to a previous post that the quote is dated, as if it was from a little while ago, you can gain the context.    But the website gives the date of the quoted post in US style   - MM/DD/YYYY.     Not in  UK style, DD/MM/YYYY.

Please may that be corrected?  Otherwise, it requires a change of mental gear ratio to find the quoted post!
