Is it just me or my PC,  why has the text on the forum changed to a light grey, it is almost unreadable?

Thanks, appears that I had to register as my email address was being used by someone else. I'm now a "newbie" but hey ho text is now back to normal.

I realise there's one heckuva lot of work in transitioning to the new system. Where should we report potential bugs?

I think I've found one -- on a normal desktop browser the text is unboleded but viewing the forums on an iPad/iPhone all the text is bolded which points to a rendering defect. Perhaps there's a setting in the new forum for mobile browser support not switched on?

On an iPad I also find the Text has shrunk in size and it ain’t to my liking.

on iOS 18.4 the appearance is only bold and creating text then trying to bold it looks the same.

I had the same issue on my iPhone 

you should be able to change the font size 

have a look at the screen shots where I have circled the screen areas which should help ?

to see if it helps

Thanks Hamish but I don’t seem to have those icons on my ipad but I’ve just pressed something and it’s got even smaller😂if I return it to Default the size increases but no bigger than what you now see,12 is smallest and Default is the largest that I can get.

Hi Derek.  I reverted to a newbie initially with a rating of 1 but it sorted it self out after a couple of days. All seems ok now. Cheers, Pete.

On an iPad I think you have to change it through 

Settings

Accessibility 

Display and Text Size

Larger text size , select turn on then you can adjust the size using the slide barc

I find on both my PC & my Smart phone (Samsung) the the difference beween normal (read) & Bold (not yet read) topic headings is not as pronounced as it was before.
Is it just me ?  (In the line above the difference is very pronounced)
Also I find it confusing that we have a "Chat" section inside the main "Chat"   can it not be called something else - like "Social scene" as before ?

Hi Bob

All the settings are as handed over and I understand this is an updated version of Invision not as used before. A lot is working  ok but some issue's around our taking over full admin of the forum are still to be resolved. I'm sure over the the next week or so we will be able to sort things, at the moment we are taking things slowly and feeling our feet.

We don't want to crash the forum😬

Contrast regarding text all OK on my iPhone11.

You don't really need a large contrast change anyway. If a post is un-read there is a large dot or star before the text. Once read, that turns a very light grey (star) or disappears (dot) so it's pretty obvious.

For Apple users I have just found the way you increase the text size on any open browser page.

In the search bar there is a oblong/square with two lines underneath it 

Click on this and a box opens

In the center of the box you will see either  

A    A 
or

a number followed by %

Tap the A’s or the number to increase or decrease the text size on that page

Maybe on i-phone but not on a Mac computer Chris.  On a Mac desktop or laptop you just type "command +" together to increase the size or "command -" to decrease it.

Although looking at your screenshot more closely I have realised that I suspect you are using Google where as I use Safari as my browser.

I have had a look but can’t see how you change it Google

This is how big I can make it go using Safari
