michaeldavis39 Posted April 16 Report Posted April 16 Can anyone confirm some information I have read from Richard Goods Goodparts website please. According to Richard if you fit a 1/2" spacer this will increase the ride height by 7/8" . He says whatever thickness spacer you use then approximately this will increase the ride height by 1.7 times - has anyone got any experience of this? Thanks in advance Quote
Waldi Posted April 16 Report Posted April 16 Yes Michael, I measured an increase in car height of around 1.5 x thicknes when I fitted new thicker (poly) spacers. Waldi Quote
Andy Moltu Posted yesterday at 07:40 AM Report Posted yesterday at 07:40 AM The springs sit roughly halfway between the pivot (where the bushes are in the trailing arm) and the wheel centre so should raise the ride height by roughly double the thickness of the spacer. I suspect the front is similar but a tape measure between the centre line of the wishbone bushes and the mid line of the spring & to the vertical link are again roughly halfway from memory. Quote
