The rubber door trim on my 4A is now looking tatty and deserves to be replaced.  I’ve used Woolies for other trim but cannot identify the exact version on their website to fit the doors.

Would some kind person who has identified the correct Woolies version please provide a link to put me on the right track.

Thanks in advance

David

Hi david,

Woolies 266 is the one I used, it has the 'Fattest' rubber tubing,

266A has slightly smaller diameter tubing and thinner siedwalls but would aldso work.

Unless I'm reading this wrong it's 265a that's the flap seal 🤔

Dale

True (edited now) but my link did go to the right 265a.

Oops. Luckily I ordered 265A - just a slip of the keyboard.

Certainly had me worried for a moment!

Thanks Dale

Is there not a capping of some sort that forms a finish for the door seal and stops it getting frayed like that.

Thanks Guys that’s very useful. As you saw from my pic there’s no end cap fitted and it’s not immediately obvious how it fits on the B post. Anyway I’ve ordered a pair and I’m sure I’ll work it out🤞.  The door seal has arrived - luckily I haven’t fitted it yet!

The cap is secured with the forward pop stud for the hood on the outside and on the inside by a chromed Phillips raised countersunk screw with a cup washer in the top of the quarter panel trim.

Stuart is quite right on the outer fastening, but it's hard to tell on  the inside of mine,  as the trim is sandwiched by the hood hinge. I'm not taking it off to take a look.PXL_20250524_120452753.thumb.jpg.ec896b5f5d1151f6977187a64d228002.jpg I've never been happy the appearance in that area, but I couldn't see another way of doing it.PXL_20250524_120510100.thumb.jpg.ff2b1bac3fa929db6cdc5e1f5b1c5214.jpg

Hi David those trim fitting that cover the top of the B post are quite delicate

I glue in thick plates underneath the main flat area to make it less suseptable to denting/bending.

The 4a one isnt half as delicate as the 4 ones, you dont often see an undamaged drivers side one of them.

Thank you all; I’ll clearly have to be careful fitting these end caps 🤞

David

Also mind your fingers as the edges of them are sharp!
