Hi Folks

this is a bit of an experiment to test the waters with a video of one of my runs with the telemetry that a GoPro camera will provide.

let me know if you think it’s adds anything to the viewing enjoyment.

i already think that the g force thing can be done away with.

feed back welcome.

The red bobble seems pointless as is the compass direction.   Track position is good thing as is digital speed.

Thank guys.
Peter sadly the compass is part of the speed icon so can’t have that one without the other.

Isn't the red dot showing "G", fractions of the force of gravity on the Earth's surface, shown in direction due to acceleration/braking and cornering?

Yes John. It is but the 3a doesn’t have that much force in any direction to get the sensor that excited 🤣

What does Christian Marx use on his videos as they just show revs/speed and the circuit location track.

Stuart.

Not sure but some race bodies require position transponders, full front and rear cameras with telemetry linked to the cars ecu via obd and can cost £,000 even for club motorsport

you need a way for the system to read the revs so a reasonably complex electronic ignition system ! I have still got points and condenser so no chance of showing revs.

My telemetry is free with the camera, gps and accelerometer. You can get phone apps like TrackAddict that does similar.
