john.r.davies Posted September 9, 2025 Report Posted September 9, 2025 (edited) WorkAid is a charity that accepts donated tools and trade materials, and sells them to help young people in the UK and Africa " by developing the skills and knowledge needed to find gainful employment or start their own business." See: https://workaid.org/donate-tools?gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=22211111029&gbraid=0AAAAAoTZl9AAII5AgTaoYSHC-THicOcjV&gclid=Cj0KCQjwoP_FBhDFARIsANPG24O9d-95kV4LZrrCfjNnzus2T1MPSM4GyzAiSTd-L5-q8MGwVfHIQxIaAvY2EALw_wcB And their eBay shop has something that may interest TR owners seeking originality: This is said to be from " an original 1960s Triumph TR- type tool kit" and certainly looks like a tyre lever, although it is unmarked with any TR logo. RogerH Posted September 9, 2025 Report Posted September 9, 2025 A TR Tent peg for those week-ends away. Quote
Paul Hig Posted September 9, 2025 Report Posted September 9, 2025 General Triumph tool for removing hub caps. Still got the one that I had with a Herald back in the day Quote
Z320 Posted September 9, 2025 Report Posted September 9, 2025 (edited) What a LOVELY tool to press the tyre off from the wire wheel rim! This would have been a great benefit for me some week ago, when I had a flat tyre nr. Nürnberg! With the flat end being the standard S-shaped end I would like it even more. Anyway, with the standard levers it was possible for a club mate and me to change the tyre tube in less than 1 h. Edited September 9, 2025 by Z320 Quote
iain Posted September 11, 2025 Report Posted September 11, 2025 Looks to be a Tr hubcap removal tool, same as the one I have Quote

john.r.davies Posted September 12, 2025 Author Report Posted September 12, 2025 Good to know that WorkAid was correct in saying it was a Triumph tool! Hope someone wants it. John Quote
