Horrendously wet weather yesterday everything was drenched. Sitting in an open car todo you run then doing a v wet hill climb is not what I call fun but it was character building I think my dad would have said

last night the wet remained but the wind hot up and destroyed a number of gazebo’s which are now scrap. By the skip

today is chilly but wonderful sunshine and a drying track

so all is good

Pleased to hear it's drying up for you Hamish, it's a lovely venue if the weather is in you favour. Let us know how it went.

Just back home.
all in all a successful weekend. Saturday whilst wet I got 2nd in class for the event but I think  1st on handicap for our championship.

today, was a lovely sunny day and times were good I got to within 2tenths of my PB

1st in class and again I think 1st on handicap.
car in one piece.

that’s my season done and a great one it’s been from generally good weather great competitive Camaraderie as d good racing

Videos are in production.
I had to dispense with the aero screens due to the rain. Just a wet visor was better

and 50+ through the farm yard in the rain with poor visibility is fun in a hooligan type of way.

and guess who had the GoPro on the wrong settings due to the awful weather 🤔

apparently this is time warp setting

Hi Hamish

what tyres do you use to get such good adhesion to the TRack  :)

Hi Roger

they are maxsport low profile road legal rally remoulds.

wouldn’t be any good for prolonged road use and very much a dry bias tyre

Great vidéo. Thanks.

What is the yellow light that lights up occasionally?

That’s my indicator warning light. It got so damp it was lighting intermittently as the wheel turned.

The temp gauge does work but it was chilly day and an hour or so between runs so only ever reached 185f.
