Trev Good Posted December 1, 2025 Report Posted December 1, 2025 Just to add another category of car into the pot, my wife's car is an assisted hybrid, ie it self charges a smallish battery on overrun to utilise on assisting the next acceleration point - think f1 cars battery assistance. Now how can these cars be separated from hybrids that can charge a battery to take over from the petrol engine at times? Quote

Reading and re-reading the information it appears the only Hybrids they're screwing with new taxing are plug-in hybrids which was part of my discussion with @Chris Hale on page 2 of this thread.
