Hi all,

You might have seen that I have been making and selling replacement fuse boxes. I’ve branched out, and have several other Triumph centric items  available, so I’ve slapped them all on a website to make it easier for people to browse.

https://www.greatoldone.co.uk/products

You'll find the original 7FJ blade fuse boxes that started this all, along with heater control plinths, mounting options for sat nav’s and repro Lucas switch fitting clips. I’m also working on other stuff which you can find on the coming soon page. The furthest along at the moment is the TR4 control plinths and diamond patterned fascia trim

Thanks for your time,

Jason.

(P.S. If you have an item you want recreating, contact me and I’ll see what I can do)

Well done Jason, we need people like you. Fred Millturn  is another, we are so lucky to have you both and others who really care and good engineers.

Parts are first class and very happy with mine.

Regards Harry.

P.S. Richard Creweread is another

Fantastic news Jason -- your products work very well and I wish you every success with the new business! I've been very happy with the 2 products (so far) I've purchased from you...👏

Hi Jason

Do you think the seatbelt keepers will be available for Santa's delivery

Possibly. They’re almost at a point where I can try printing them. Do you have securon style belts or the originals?

Ah. A willing test subject. 🤔😜

It seems to work... I might tweak the insert a little for a more positive 'click' when you insert the belt, but it looks like a winner.

I'm also modelling up an insert for the original belt tang / tongue

Is this the same as the seat belt stowage clip used in MG and other BLMC cars in the 1970’s with static seat belts?
Their part number was.  BHH938

I don't know Peter - It could be... I'll let others in the know chime in.

We’ll need a volunteer to check if these original style seatbelt parks work 🙂

According to the courier website, the last date for guaranteed delivery prior to Christmas is Friday 19th December.

Bear in mind anything ordered will need to be printed an assembled. So I think a reasonable cut off date for orders would be the 17th December. With caveat that if I’m swamped, it’s first come first served as normal. (I would of course let you know if it’s not going to make Santa’s sack)

So if you are thinking of getting something as a Christmas present (either for your self or another) or getting a significant other to grab something for you to stick under the tree… those are the dates to work on.

Ho Ho Ho. 🎅

And next in line for the mighty R'lyeh forges:

Need to do some test prints, and get some flexible filament as I'll try and make them as accurate as possible dimensionally and material wise. But I'd guess I'll have these ready in the new year if there is sufficient interest.

Yes, apologies! The rubber sunvisor bracket that’s fitted to a variety of cars (but modelled on the one I took of my TR6)

The test print looks pretty bang on. I’m going to fit this on my car to check it’s all ok, and if it is grab a more appropriate colour flexible filament. The green was all I had on hand. IMG_1968.thumb.jpeg.0ef05609654ad2237af3843da071e5eb.jpeg

Jason, did you get a pm from me regarding these brackets?
Cheers
