Ian Vincent Posted November 19, 2025 Report Posted November 19, 2025 (edited) They were gritting in my area (Frome and the Mendips) this afternoon. Which is a bit of a bu33er as I need to do an oil and filter change and I was going to go for a drive at the weekend to get the oil warmed through. TR Rob Posted November 20, 2025 Report Posted November 20, 2025 Had to scrape ice off the windscreen yesterday morning , and was snowing near Winchester this morning. Not seen any gritters out yet. Quote
John Morrison Posted November 20, 2025 Report Posted November 20, 2025 NO, its not the end of the driving season, there is no end. Probably not take the TR out if the roads have been salted, but that usually doesn't last long, first rain washes it away again, and there can be some glorious driving mornings, especially, wit a crisp temperature and a low Winter sun. Cumbria Group, now hosts an annual New Years Day Run, through the heart of the Lake District, would you believe extremely quiet for driving, then lunch at The Lakeland Motor Museum, at Newby Bridge - A great Start to a TR'ing Year. Lebro Posted November 20, 2025 Report Posted November 20, 2025 +1Â not on salty roads, but otherwise, don that flying jacket, & bobble hat, & go ! Bob Quote

Chilliman Posted November 30, 2025 Report Posted November 30, 2025 Funnily enough I've been out running around in my green one this morning trying to get a few more miles on the new engine & I have to admit I think she enjoyed the cool crisp air. Quote
