🤬Looks like it’s time to decide if now is the time to add Sta-Bil given:

They were gritting in my area (Frome and the Mendips) this afternoon. Which is a bit of a bu33er as I need to do an oil and filter change and I was going to go for a drive at the weekend to get the oil warmed through.

Saw one on the M40 between Beaconsfield and Uxbridge at about 21.00 this evening.

Had to scrape ice off the windscreen yesterday morning , and was snowing near Winchester this morning. Not seen any gritters out yet.

NO, its not the end of the driving season, there is no end.

Probably not take the TR out if the roads have been salted, but that usually doesn't last long,

first rain washes it away again, and there can be some glorious driving mornings, especially, wit  a crisp temperature and a low Winter sun.

Cumbria Group, now hosts  an annual New Years Day Run, through the heart of the Lake District, would you believe

extremely quiet for driving, then lunch at The Lakeland Motor Museum, at Newby Bridge - A great Start to a TR'ing Year.

Funnily enough I've been out running around in my green one this morning trying to get a few more miles on the new engine & I have to admit I think she enjoyed the cool crisp air.
