Rod1883 Posted December 1, 2025 Report Posted December 1, 2025 Can't access the main TRR website via the banner here or via a search. Is this part of the switch of website, or just an outage? Rod Quote
Lebro Posted December 1, 2025 Report Posted December 1, 2025 Me too, also I could not access this forum on my mobile, that now resolved by changing the web address to trforums.com I guess they are changing to new platform ? Bob Quote
Rod1883 Posted December 1, 2025 Author Report Posted December 1, 2025 (edited) Yes, I had to go to trforums as my saved link stopped working too. I assume it is to do with the switch of website/platform also Edited December 1, 2025 by Rod1883 Quote
Chilliman Posted December 1, 2025 Report Posted December 1, 2025 Should be okay for you now, certainly is working for me by pressing on the main banner at the head of our forum page. Almost certainly just the bedding in of the new site. Quote
Rod1883 Posted December 1, 2025 Author Report Posted December 1, 2025 The link from the banner isn't working for me, but typing tr-register.co.uk in the search bar brings up the new web site. Perhaps it will all settle down Quote
RobH Posted December 1, 2025 Report Posted December 1, 2025 Looks like the server is down. Probably a 'sheep' thing Quote
james christie Posted December 1, 2025 Report Posted December 1, 2025 (edited) I was on the new site an hour ago, had to log in again and reset password. No big deal. Even managed to fairly easily post an ad.😃 However I note that the links don't work right now (19h00 gmt) james Edited December 1, 2025 by james christie Quote
RogerH Posted December 1, 2025 Report Posted December 1, 2025 Do the TRR know that the forum is not working as it should?? Roger Quote

Rod1883 Posted December 2, 2025 Author Report Posted December 2, 2025 Try typing 'tr-register.co.uk' into the top search bar - that should allow you to get to the new website, Quote
RobH Posted December 2, 2025 Report Posted December 2, 2025 At the moment the new-look site is working if you just click on the link as usual. Quote
RogerH Posted December 2, 2025 Report Posted December 2, 2025 The address code for the forums must have been changed. I can get in via the main website or via google history but not using the book mark that has worked since the forums came live yonks ago. Roger Quote
Ecosse Posted December 2, 2025 Report Posted December 2, 2025 Hello Roger, I had the same issue. Now resolved by deleting the old link an pinning the new address to my toolbar, I hope my wording makes sense. Cliff Quote

RobH Posted December 2, 2025 Report Posted December 2, 2025 (edited) Well it's all working OK for me on my laptop. The original forum bookmark is fine and the new main site works from the forum header as it should. The forum bookmark on my phone works OK too. That means the problems must be browser-related. You could try clearing the cache and trying again. (Your browser stores bits and pieces from sites you have visited in a "cache" so that re-loading is quicker if you go there again. If the site has changed though, the bits don't match and the browser gets confused. Clearing the junk from the cache can fix that so that normal service is resumed) Edited December 2, 2025 by RobH Quote

Another 7 months before I have to decide again Quote
