Kev TR Register Track Day Coordinator Healeysport - Curborough Test Day Who is Organising the day? – Richard Mason When is it? - Thursday 19 March Where is it? - The Curborough Sprint Track at Fradley - just north of Lichfield (post code WS13 8EJ) What's included? - A hot breakfast (bacon or sausage sandwich) is served from about 8.30am, mid-morning tea and coffee plus a hot lunch from about 12.00. Times agreed on the day with the caterer. How much track time do I get? - The track will be open from about 09.30 and we must finish by 17.00 which means that you will usually get as many runs as you have petrol or tyres for. Dual drives and passengers are allowed. There will be a maximum of 20 cars attending. Only one vehicle will be on track at any one time. What do I need to bring? - all drivers/passengers will need race overalls, gloves and a helmet. All cars must be road worthy, have silencers and run to 105db maximum noise. What does it cost? - the cost will be £95 for a driver including food. You can have more than one driver for a car, and the second or subsequent drivers pay £65 each, which includes food. Excellent value for a day's testing and food. Food for other guests can be purchased from the caterers. How do I pay? You pay Richard Mason by bank transfer when you book your place on the event. Alternatively, you can, subject to prior agreement with Richard, pay by cash on the day. On the day, each person will be issued two tickets - hand one over to the caterers for a breakfast and one for your lunch. As only one car is allowed on the sprint course at a time, it's a great way for track day novices to experience what their car can really do. And track day regulars will know what great fun it is.
