thanks gentlemen, these have been struggling to sell for a couple of years but look a lot better than when I first encountered them. Here's hoping they will go to good homes and I'm always here to help.

Just out of curiosity if you go on his other items for sale and click on the MGB GT what is the grey car in the background of the first picture?

I have a better photo of the car but not permission to publish atm, it looks more XK 120/140 style but not as pretty imho. GRP; looks to be no identity and no chassis so I think he's really going to struggle to sell this one.

doing further research and will report back.

The whole front end seems to have been cut about and changed.

Someone has gone to a lot of trouble, but I guess lost interest and never finished it.

yes, there is another one (over the years there's been plenty🤐) in the States at the moment with a similar "modification". The for sale here looks as if it have actually come from a mould as it is all one colour/texture of GRP. If this is the case then it was more work than you can imagine, sadly if they had put this amount of effort into the complete car in stead it would have been finished by now! Personally  I don't dislike the front but it has to marry up with the back....I do wonder what that was going to be like.

The previous owner was a hoarder and had a considerable "collection" so I guess his time was spread a little thin.

Looks sort of complete too.

you have rear seats, and  window lifts in the doors.   Bit of bamboo and some rivets and the steering wheels a goer too

As a project and given enthusiasm you are away.   How horrid is the chassis?   Glass will be a tease I guess.

Chassis will be the consistency of Weetabix but we can supply. Glass, I have bucks with Pilkingtons and its all obtainable (if you're willing to wait for them!) steering wheel is akin to Peerless but wood isnt a problem, amongst us we have front seats/front panels/complete rear so its all doable....but at what cost.

Anyhoo, more interesting is this....answers on my usual currancey

Bit late for me to sell the AquaPlane overhead valve cylinder head I had for a Ford Pop.   It went on E&M and recouped me £15.00.
The Autobodies shell looks too fast for its chassis.

The biggest problem the new owner will have is finding a windscreen to fit.

I don't think it's an E93A screen because that has a curved top, which is odd because as the body was designed to fit an E93A chassis you would think the body designer would have made the aperture to fit that screen.

I guess it is a flat screen so maybe it could be cut from laminated.

Most of those early kit models used a lot of flat glass for ease of supply unless they opted for a screen from an existing model. Small production runs usually just went for flat.
